I would give this place a 8/10. I’ve looked at the reviews online and people rave about this place. The food was good but I wouldn’t say outstanding. I’ve stayed at Hyatt Zilara which is next door and both have their pros and cons. To me the food at Hyatt is better. At secrets my favorite was the seafood place(oceana). The sushi was really good at the hibachi place. The best sushi I’ve had at an all inclusive. The reason I would rank Zilara above secrets in food is cause the Buffett was better at Zilara. The service at both places are great. At secrets you get a concierge even if you are not preferred which I didn’t expect. They will send you the activities and everything you need to know for the day. If you have any questions they are more than willing to help. I had one mishap where I wanted to do the painting class. I asked my concierge and he said it was at the beach. I asked 2 other workers about it and they both said the beach. Come to find out it was at the pool and I was not able to attend and that was disappointing. The drinks at secrets are strong so be prepared when drinking all day! Room service was great. We got a late night snack a few times and it came if not hot, warm. Really appreciated that! The atmosphere here is pretty lively for an adult only place and I was surprised by that. Went to the pop show and Alicia keys show. Both were entertaining. The spa was fantastic. We got 2 massages each and did hydrotherapy everyday. Overall this place is great but I wouldn’t be back just cause I had a better experience at Hyatt Zilara.

First time to DR, and first time choosing an all-inclusive resort. I truly felt like we made the right choice. Secrets Cap Cana was beautiful, well-maintained, and had great service. We splurged a bit and went with a preferred club level room with a swim out room. It was great because it gave us access to the whole resort including some bars and restaurants that are only for preferred club. It also comes with a butler which is like a personal concierge. Matiel Reyes was our person, and he was so nice and helpful. We certainly didn’t ask for much as we planned to just chill for the week. We weren’t doing any excursions etc, but he still hooked us up with some pool floats to use. He also made a point to check in with us every day in person wherever we were in the resort. The buffet breakfast and lunch was amazing. The other dinner locations were good, but nothing that blew us away. Loved the Coco Cafe being open all the time. It was like having a personal Starbucks.

Pampered in the Dominican!
Anibel was an amazing concierge, request him...... attentive to all our needs and made our special celebrations complete. Having traveled many Secrets and stayed in the Preferred sections, he truly exemplified what dedicated service was all about! Would go back simply because of him!

First visit, already booked my next visit
First time at Secrets Cap Cana Resort & Spa on a girls trip 11/28-12/5. Loved it so much I'm coming back over Spring break with my hubby and another couple. Our concierge Anibal was fantastic, he kept us up to date on events and activities happening that day and always came to say hello when walking around the resort. He made you feel well taken care of. This was a great experience!

Exceptional service!
We typically stay at Sandals resorts but decided to change things up this time, and we’re very glad we did. This resort was exceptional. Overall, the service, food, and atmosphere were outstanding, and the property itself is beautiful and well maintained. The staff truly makes the experience — attentive, warm, and consistently going above and beyond. Dining exceeded our expectations, and everything felt polished and high-end from start to finish. One thing worth noting for future travelers: nightly entertainment is more limited compared to some larger all-inclusive resorts. Aside from the theater shows, evenings are generally quieter. That said, it fit the relaxed, upscale vibe of the resort and never took away from our experience. Also, the average guest age skewed a bit older (50+), so honeymooners or younger couples looking for a high-energy nightlife scene should keep that in mind. If you’re looking for a refined, laid-back, luxury adults-only experience, this resort absolutely delivers. We would definitely return and highly recommend it.
