A wonderful winter sun getaway.
Following our visit just under a year ago, and hoping to have some winter sun we returned to this beautiful hotel, with preferred club booking. It was just as we remembered it and was to the same class as we had experienced the last time round. The staff are all polite and accommodating. We had a bed and breakfast booking as we enjoy going into town. Breakfasts are all encompassing with everything you can think of and consider, though the "English sausages" were not the best (though our standards on sausages are quite high!). They have every cereal you could want, fresh and other fruits, nuts and seeds, with various types of yoghurt, numerous different breads and several chefs cooking things to your liking. It was a fantastic start to every day... and if so inclined, sparking wine! We did eat several evenings in the restaurant, but for the cost you might not want to have breakfast as there is so much choice, and different themes for each evening. There was evening entertainment every evening in the bar/lobby area which was a relaxing way to end the day. The weather was great, warm enough and definitely sunny, though there was a storm coming in as we left, so not always guaranteed in March. All in all, a wonderful stay again.

Mar 22, 2026Visit Lanzarote Secrets for an Amazing stay
We arrived on Friday, if you want 5 star Preferred please do not come here; we were running 15 minutes late for a 9.00 pm booking tonight (only time we could get) to be told we can’t have any dinner. Privilege definately not worth the money; sectioned off areas in the breakfast room only with an egg menu; apart from a beach bag nothing else privilege, same pool area, no different restaurants. All restaurants are not available and the ones that are open are fully booked until 9.00 pm. However if you run late they don’t let you eat as what happened with us tonight. We booked as we stayed in Secrets Lanzarote which was amazing, we should have returned there. No atmosphere in this hotel at all, food ok when you can get it. Highly recommend visiting Lanzarote Secrets they’ve got everything covered especially privilege.

The hotel was generally ok. I think for paying for a 5 star in anywhere but the UK youre going to have issues and its not the 5* we expect. The hotel was lovely in terms of facilities however the bar area at night was small. The spa facilities and pool was excellent. I think what let it down is the attitude of staff. Sometimes we just wouldn't be served at rhe bar area or sunloungers but if we went to the bar it was like we were causing a inconvenience . We ordered one drink from the pool and it never appeared after 45 mins so we went to get it ourself. Most the staff are lovely but others have attitude ans find it a real hardship to do their job. I noticed this in the bar and by the pool. Food was really good but when your paying premium for all inclusive you should be able t access all of those facilities on arrival and not be told they are booked up. Beacuae of all this 4 stars.
