Excellent resort and wonderful staff. The food was above average and my favorite was the Coffee Bar, Coco Cafe....hot ham & cheese croissant wad delicious! Ice snickers coffee to boot! Can't wait to return! Gena McCool.

Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya is a fantastic adults-only all-inclusive escape that truly delivers on relaxation and romance. The staff stands out as truly amazing—attentive, friendly, and genuinely warm, making every interaction feel personal and welcoming from check-in to daily service. The resort buzzes with a fun activities lineup, from beachside games and snorkeling (with turtles right offshore) to poolside entertainment and evening shows, keeping things lively without overwhelming the serene vibe. The atmosphere is pure magic: lush tropical grounds, winding paths, and a peaceful, romantic energy that’s perfect for couples unwinding. The beautiful beach is a highlight—pristine white sand, calm turquoise waters, and plenty of loungers make it ideal for lounging or dipping in for a swim. Food is good (not great or amazing), with solid variety across the buffet and à la carte options—plenty of choices and decent quality for an all-inclusive, though it doesn’t quite reach exceptional levels. Overall, if you’re seeking a stunning beachfront getaway with top-notch service and a joyful yet relaxed feel, Secrets Akumal is well worth it. Highly recommend!

Stunning place to go on holiday
Beautiful natural environment. Helpful and friendly staff nothing is too much trouble. Excellent food. Great pool activities. Huge room. Would definitely recommend
