What a great resort From the food to all the people that work there Our concierge Alexandra from building 5 took such good care of us The activity team, I can’t say enough We did the exercise bikes in the pool, went on bike tour highly recommend, went on Jungle tour, played pool volleyball and went on kayak tour Didiel took really good care of us on our activities The Christmas show along with the buffet was just awesome Also if you want to go see the turtles see Juan Aka Johnny Always in orange long sleeve shirt with orange bass pro hat on the beach Personal tour $40 per person I would say our on problem was with chairs at beach and pool He really watches you and if you are not at your chairs for a little while he makes a point to come tell you about it We left one day for an hour to go to spa and when we got back he came over to tell us you can’t reserve chairs People had towels everywhere and no one was at them He did this twice to us This time of year there were open chairs everywhere so not a problem

We loved Secrets Akumal!
Our stay at Secrets Akumal was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. The resort is stunning, perfectly set along a beautiful beach with crystal-clear water and incredible marine life right offshore. Snorkelling with sea turtles was an unforgettable experience. The staff truly make this resort special. Every member of the team was warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure our stay was perfect. The service was seamless without ever feeling intrusive. We loved getting involved in all the pool/beach activities. Shout out to our favourites: Alan (entertainment) Didiel (entertainment, bracelet) Max (entertainment) Carlos (entertainment) Andres (entertainment) Ari (entertainment) Andi (supervisor) Alejandro (blackjack) Jose (pool drinks) Karina (concierge) Osuna (pool manager) Fernando (Himitsu restaurant) The rooms were spacious, immaculate, and beautifully designed, with luxurious touches throughout. The food exceeded expectations for an all-inclusive resort — every restaurant offered excellent quality, variety, and presentation, with no need for reservations. The grounds are immaculately maintained, the pools are relaxing, and the atmosphere is peaceful and romantic. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying evening entertainment, or simply walking through the lush pathways, everything felt thoughtfully curated. Secrets Akumal delivers luxury, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences in equal measure. We left already planning our return and would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a truly special getaway.

Five days, Four nights
The resort is beautiful and the food and staff are incredible. A huge thank you to Jonas, Oscar, Fernando and Gina for making our stay so special. When we first arrived we switched rooms because we had booked an ocean view but couldn’t see it. Fernando the concierge in building 8 was more than accommodating. He arranged a new room in building 7, gave us a tour of it prior to relocating to make sure it fit our needs, and booked us a Bali Bed as an apology for the error. Gina, the concierge in building 7 was just as thorough and helpful. She also decorated our room for my husband’s birthday which was such a thoughtful gesture. Jonas arranged a private bike tour for my husband and I after he found out we went to do the tour in the morning but there were no bikes left. We later found out this is a paid service that he did complimentary. Oscar, led the bike tour and was absolutely incredible. He is so knowledgeable about the area and made the experience truly enjoyable. Oscar also led the Aquastrong + class we attended which was equally enjoyable with him. We’d honestly come back just for the staff.
