One of the best places to stay, real 5 star experience, amazing food and restaurants, best resort to enjoy every moment , amazing rooms with 24 hr room service with fantastic burgers etc We really enjoyed our stay with family and already planning to come back next year

Everything was top tier from food/beverage to service and comfort/cleanliness. Attention to detail was obvious and friendly personable staff . Beautiful property with great pools. Would return for sure.

This was our 3rd trip to Secret’s Akumal, it was a favorite of ours. No fault of the hotel, but the beach was horrible, not seaweed bad, but rocks that had been raked up, could hardly walk to the right on the beach at all, and that is one of our favorite things to do, so we probably won’t be back. Didn’t like the fact that all the PAID Bali beds had been added around the pool, limiting the lounge chairs. We ate early risers, so didn’t have a problem finding a chair. The resort is starting to show a little age. Will continue to travel to other newer Secret’s, we’ve been to 12 of them for a total of 20 trips.

Great resort!!
The resort is beautiful, although a little confusing until you learn your way around. Our room was perfect, temp was always perfect, which isn’t always the case at some resorts. Every single staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was really good, I won’t say great, but really, really good. I do wish the preferred club would have changed up the menu each day, but food was good. The entertainment was one of the best I’ve ever seen at a resort. Our preferred club concierge, Karen, was terrific and extremely helpful. Drinks were always perfect as well!! Would definitely go back to this resort and highly recommend!!

Secrets Akumal is the place to go!
The service at this resort is impeccable. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! The resort itself is beautiful as are the rooms. The room was cleaned to perfection every day!
