We had a group of six family members in three rooms. We had a great time and the staff did a great job making sure that our every need was met. From Sergio at the Barracuda Bar to Didiel for pool aerobics and paddle boarding and finally Billie, our concierge who made sure that there wasn’t anything that we needed. Special shout out to our travel agent, Carli, at Travelingos for going above and beyond for our special circumstances.

Truly the best!
Nothing but wonderful things to say about this resort! The layout was a little tricky but with the shaded pathways and lush landscaping it was very enjoyable. Room was clean and well stocked. Our concierge Billie was always available and greeted us with a smile. Raina helped confirm our departure transportation. Food and drinks were delicious. Antonio at Marketplace was wonderful every morning. Mario at the pool bar really knows how to mix them! The beach was beautiful. We enjoyed snorkeling every day! The pool staff makes sure you can always find a spot. Our concierge was Ruben and our waiters Cruz took great care of us! The entertainment team was so fun. Brandon, Lizabeth, Alan, Max and Andres. I'm sure I'm forgetting so many wonderful people! Top notch in all categories!

Excellent, relaxing vacation
We stayed at Secrets Akumal 12/5-12/13. We traveled with 2 other couples. All of us loved this resort. The food was very good. The poolside lunch BBQ was particularly good. Service was attentive and drinks were tasty. Sergio at the Barracuda bar on the beach was our favorite bartender! He always remembered exactly how we liked certain cocktails. Didiel from the entertainment staff as so much fun. The couples in our party have been to Le Blanc Los Cabo’s several times. We all agree that Secrets Akumal is right up there with Le Blanc. We loved that you can get in the water at Akumal which is a drawback at Le Blanc Los Cabos (dangerous undertow). We’ll definitely return to Secrets Akumal in the future! Don’t hesitate to book a trip here!

This hotel is perfection
We had 2 wonderful weeks at this great hotel. This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in ,from day one we were treated so kindly by all the staff as i was celebrated my 80th birthday. The room was excellent and all the restaurants were very good,the french and Italian were the favorites. A big thankyou to our concierge Billie who looked after us every day and Isaac who escorted us to the restaurants each night.Eliazar the manager in the market cafe who was a pleasure to see each day and welcomed us so warmly.
