Feb 28, 2026Great Resort
This was our first visit to Sapphire Beach Resort. Upon our arrival we were greeted with a warm smile from Eddie at the front desk. He then took us for a walk through the resort and explained all the . amenities. All the rooms have great views either of the ocean or the three pools on the property. The property was well kept by all the maintenance workers who work so hard every day to keep the place clean. The room we stayed in was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Everyone on the resort treats you like Family. There was one worker in maintenance named Wifi that went over and above to make your stay enjoyable. He would take you out fishing bring you fresh coconuts, and sugar cane and always had a smile in his face. This young man worked so hard everyday so our beach was clean. We has such a great experience that we will be back next year. Thank you to all the stuff that made our month visit enjoyable.

Wonderful resort and people
We just returned from a 28 night stay at Saphire Beach Resort. Overall we were very happy with the resort. We stayed in a one bedroom, ground floor,pool view suite. The room was very well equipped for a long, self catering stay. The bed was very comfortable and the air conditioners worked great. We really liked that we were just a few steps from both the pools and the beach. The beach is truly gorgeous but the water was very murky the whole time we were there. It was a 30 minute, very scenic golf cart ride north to Tranquility Bay where the water was very nice and the snorkeling was decent. The resort grounds and pools were beautiful and well maintained by their very friendly landscaping staff. We appreciated having a good restaurant and bar on site. There were many good restaurants just a short golf cart ride away. We really enjoyed the good fishing off the dock and the great fishing out of the kayaks. Come to the island prepared for the no-see-ums as they can be ferocious. A special shout out to Wi Fi for getting us set up for fishing. He was always smiling and helping everyone with whatever they needed. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. If we go back to Ambergris Caye we would definitely stay at this resort.

Feb 01, 2026People and services amazing!!! Infrastructure, food and trash all over the island were disgusting!
The water and vews were amazing! Even though the property is only eight miles from the main town, it takes around one hour to get there. The roads are in horrible condition and you must rent a golf cart to get there! Groceries are extremely expensive and expired! On the other hand, the workers in the resort were amazing. Number one happy guy WILFRIDO! He is always so happy and willing to help. Wilbert, the bartender at the pools was also incredible! I enjoy the stay put want to warn people about the sand flies and trash everywhere! The only clean area was by the resort because Wilfrido and his coworkers keep it so clean!

Another great stay at Sapphire Beach!!
This was our second visit to Ambergris Caye and second time at Sapphire Beach Resort. We had such a great experience with welcoming staff the first time, it was a no brainer to choose anywhere else. It is far from town, a 40 minute airport car transfer or 60 minute golf cart ride but worth it to be closer to the reef and further from the crowds. Eddie in hospitality is very friendly, was invaluable with helping us set up our accommodations, arranging transport and setting up tours. We were thrilled to find “WiFi” Wilfredo still working there, both of our trips he has been very welcoming with his infectious smile, he shared his love of the island with us, he went every mile to make sure our stay was comfortable with helping us get our kayaks situated, cutting down fresh coconuts for our kids to drink from and even had us try sugar cane! He also gave us some tips on fishing including good kayak spots. Eric takes great care with the landscaping and fun to talk to, Will is such a friendly and welcoming bartender and Silvino keeps the perimeter safe and welcomes you back from your daily travels. Sad to leave but excited to return. Thanks for another great vacation!!

Spectacular Resort perfect to get away !!!!
The location is a little bit far away from the main city but worth it. All employees are amazing, incredible atmosphere, clean room and around the resort. Indescriptible birds and ocean sound. Great activities to enjoy outdoors like paddle board, kayak, snorkeling, etc. We really had an unforgettable time.
