Wonderful time in Cabo
Loved the Finisterra. 4.5* We returned to Cabo after a decade and we're very happy we chose this hotel. The food was exceptional as was the service. The rooms are large and well kept and the views are amazing. We went to a few shows and enjoyed them, as well as the daily yoga and pilates classes. The location has an amazing plus which is the marina being literally across the street, while also having a beautiful beach. If I had to pick cons I haveca couple things to keep in mind. One downside for us was not being able to walk the beach (no swimming like pretty much everywhere in Cabo,) but the beach is very deep and soft so it was too hard a walk. As well, aside from breakfast all is a la carte, so lunch for the non RE guests is either poolside or the same menu for the week. Delicious, but a bit repetitive. Neither would be deal breakers but things to keep in mind. Finally the hotel is older, which we generally prefer, and well maintained, but there are definitely some areas around the pool that are uneven from missing stones.

Wonderful Trip to Los Cabos
Sandos Finisterra, Cabo San Lucas, is a great vacation location. From the start, Ana checked us into a room on the 6th floor with a great view of the ocean. This was important as you can watch whales from your balcony. The entire resort is very clean and well maintained. Restaurants: Cupcake Cafe for coffee, tea, sweet snacks, ice cream & sandwiches to go. Don Diego for buffet breakfast and evening dinners. Breakfast food was incredibly fresh and lots of variety. Tip: try the Mexican coffee. Great servers: Arturo, Javiar and Georgina. Hostess: Adi was welcoming and remembered our names by room number by the second visit. Agave for lunch and dinner. Friendly service from Itzel. Menu included tacos, burgers, salads, fish... Great spot right beside the pool. Tortuga for dinner. Great steaks. Located on the beach. Emiliano's was our favourite. Upscale Italian dining. Menu featured an antipasto bar, fresh pasta, seafood & fish, ossobuco (incredible). Javier was a very attentive. Pool bar staff were efficient. Wait times for drinks were minimal. They were always happy to create your favourite drink. Norma had a smile for everyone. Lobby bar, Rocca was a great spot to have drink after a morning walk or before dinner. The Stones Club had lively entertainment. Whale Watchers Bar was a chill spot for a drink and a great view. Don't pass up the walk around the marina. Watch for sea lions. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thanks to the entire staff.

Two weeks Dec 6-20 room 1236
Have stayed ay many resorts in Cabo, I have to say Sandos is the best value for the price we have encountered. Room, clean average size, comfortable bed and bedding, hot water always available and Air cond worked fine , maid service was excellent, room service food was decent and fast. Food, breakfasts were excellent, home made omelet's and a good selection of fruit, cheese etc excellent service! It was nice not to be asked to sign for anything ever. All of the A La Carte options were good, better than a lot of the high end resorts in Cabo, lots of lunch options at the pool, nice that reservations were not required! Pools , two main pools, one large family pool, large size great for swimming laps, kept clean and perfect temp, nice to have a large adult pool option as well, more than enough chairs everywhere and no towel games. Excellent entertainment staff, Enrique, Yuki and Carme were amazing. Pool side service was probably the best we have ever seen! Norma and Gabrielle made sure were were always looked after, Staff throughout the resort were no doubt the best we have experienced anywhere though-out the resort. We could not complain about a single thing and will definitely be back. If i would make one suggestion to management the Gym is small and has limited equipment although well maintained and always opened on time, I would suggest replacing and upgrading the free weights as they are older than me, possible add another bench as it doesn't take many people o make it crowded.

A Little Piece of Paradise
This was our 2nd stay at Sandos. We stayed November 30th to Dec.11th. Once again we had a wonderful holiday. The staff held by Nikki, hotel manager are fabulous. Each and every staff person is super friendly and sincerely want to make your holiday here a special one. A huge shout out to Alberto, one of the Food and Beverage managers for always giving my husband and myself extra special attention. When my husband was not feeling well one night while we were dining at Agave, he sought us out on our last night to see how he was and to say good- bye to us…….truly a very special man. We look forward to another visit next year. Again, if you want, excellent service, friendly caring staff and tasty food, look no further. Shelley and Dave From Canada
