Welcome to the San Juan Water Beach Club Hotel, a unique boutique property just steps from one of Puerto Rico's hottest beaches. A place to play under the sun and party under the stars; a place to dine in style and relax in luxurious surroundings. Known by insiders as the Water Club, it's the Island's celebrity drop-by, the local Mecca of hip that caters to an international crowd.
The décor takes its cue from the transparent waters of the Caribbean Sea, a cool mix of blues that swirl, ripple and cascade throughout the sleek, modern building; playing point with brilliant shades of white to a soundtrack all its own. Service in this seaside boutique hotel is key: efficient and personalized… We are "guest-centric". And because location is (almost) everything, you'll be happy to know we're right where you'll want to be. Historic Old San Juan, shopping in Condado, and sizzling nightlife, all within minutes.

Don’t stay here!
The hotel is under renovation. Construction noise during the day. Minimal furniture in the room. No dresser or closet to put your clothes. We had to leave clothes in our suitcases on the floor. No instructions on how to use the safe. No phone in room. Not worth what you pay. Only good thing is that the beach is across the street.

Horrible stay, pics and narrative not accurate
DO NOT STAY HERE. We chose this property due to proximity to airport, as we needed accommodation for one night. It was the last night of the San Sebastian festival and unbeknownst to us, there was a party on the rooftop restaurant. The music pounded loudly until 1:30am. We heard it when we returned to the hotel after dinner and asked the front desk what time it would end, to which they responded 10:30 to one inquirer, and midnight to me. Both were incorrect. The check in staff was rude, the "doormen" were simply that, they opened the door, and were unhelpful with moving the luggage from the taxi to the front desk, let alone the room. The pictures on the hotel website are not at all what you receive. The space is very dated, curtains are grease-marked at the track line, and the room barren of the details shown online. The view from the 18" deep balcony is a great ocean view. The breakfast in the restaurant was nice and the staff there was delightful.

Noisy! But its on beachfront...
If you like noise and pounding music this is the place. Construction ongoing during the day and at night music pounding away keeping guests awake. Its beachfront but thats it. Needs work which explains major construction. Location is a hub for traffic coming and going dropping beachgoers off, radios blaring. Front desk is of no help. $$$$ for this?

Good Place to Stay before Airport
Reasonably priced, nice hotel very close to the airport if you need a "night before the flight" hotel. Staff were all super friendly, across a path to the beach. Great view from the rooftop restaurant and pool. Lunch was outstanding- burgers, salted potatoes, and a really good Spanish red wine. Pool is small and the music was blasting when we were there. beach was a better choice for relaxing. Little strip mall with a wine bar, CVS and small convenience store if you need supplies close by.

BAIT & SWITCH - DO NOT GO
Let me start off by saying the staff was incredible. From front desk to house keeping. Everyone had a smile and a pleasant welcoming. BUT THATS IT. I was excited to come to Puerto Rico and visit the Olive boutique hotel. I came here for a weeklong visit to sample the hotel for my wedding this year in November. My fiancé and I absolutely fell in love with the style of olive and wanted to experience it for ourselves and for our family and guests. What I found out there was a location located by the beach I was a ecstatic it immediately booked a hotel. That excitement has turned into extreme disappointment. I got dropped off at the hotel only to realize it was a completely different hotel called San Juan Water Beach Club, which I looked at it was not a fan of and didn't choose it. When I got to the front and ask the front desk what this was they said that my room was an olive boutique not the hotel, despite your website explicitly stating boutique hotels not boutique room in an different hotel. To add insult to injury we get into this room which by the way is a beautiful room but only to be greeted by loud thumping and drilling directly above my head as if I was involved in a construction zone. So not only was I fooled into a different hotel I unwillingly was hired to be a part of a construction team. Which continued the entire length of my week long stay. After traveling back and forth to different vendors and caterers and venues for my wedding I hope to be able to come to the room and have a nice nap but it was impossible. Even as I write this review at 11:30am there is drilling going right over my head. Since our stay my fiancé and I have gotten increasingly sicker we can't sleep at night because we are constantly sneezing coughing and can't breathe. Until I couldn't take it anymore and decided to open up the vent in the air conditioning unit and it was disgustingly dirty. I’m talking chunks of construction dust. We are now taking cough medicine on a trip that we hoped would be our medicine from our own concrete jungle. My fiancé is allergic to dust and had to ask the desk to do a deep clean as dust was littered across the room. When I couldn’t take it anymore I sent an email to San Juan and the mysterious Olive Boutique hotel begging to be accommodated and moved to a different room. That couldn’t be done. But they could take off our taxes and one nights stay. Laughable. I was informed that construction was going to stop and that was a complete lie. I yet to have receive an email from management. We paid over 3K for a weeks stay in a beautiful room covered in dust, bombarded by construction noises Oh PS the WiFi never works. If you are going to be Performing construction, I get it. But INFORM YOUR GUEST AND ACCOMMODATE THEM!! Our whole trip was ruined. Safe to say we will not be bringing our wedding. Guests here.
