  An excellent choice for meetings and pleasure

  I only stayed 1 night for a business meeting. I had a lot of options and opted for this property knowing the brand quality would not disappoint and it did not. Overall, the experience was very good. Staff was exceptionally peasant and helpful. The room quality was mostly to my anticipated standards. Bed was very comfortable and I found it difficult to get out of bed in the morning because it was so comfortable. There were only a few minor items that were not to the standards. For example, I needed to iron pants and shirt and while there was an iron it leaked... all over the place. There was no ironing board, so I used the bed. I got what I needed to do done, but it did detract from the experience. Another minor issue was the sliding glass door to the balcony needed two men and a donkey 🫏 to open and close. I am a big guy and it was tough. But the view is worth the effort. One of my pet peeves is the condition of the bathroom and this one was average. The functionality of the shower valve was a little problematic when switching between overhead shower and hand held nozzle. I was happy they had both options. We needed some meeting space at the last minute and they were able to accommodate with an "executive boardroom". The room was ample, well lighted and set up with paper pads, pens, and bottle water. They also had a coffee station set up, but there was no coffee in the room. In my book that is a major miss. The rental fee was fair at $500, but was way to big for 2 people to work. They don't offer smaller meeting rooms... the one distraction, and it was a good one was the view. While we worked i found myself watching the people on the beach and the surfers trying to catch a wave. This is truly a multipurpose property. Both vacationers and professional guests would enjoy the property. One aspect of the expense that may rub people the wrong way is the additional resort fee. I know why they have it, but if I have zero time to enjoy the resort aspects of the resort because I am here to work, then please don't charge me for something I can't use. My preference in situations like this is make it embedded into the room price, not on top of it. Doing so makes it easier to explain everything expenses on a company expense report. I would definitely come back to this property for when my clients are in town and we need a comfortable place to sleep and work at a market price. But regarding price, there are huge fluctuations with in-season prices easily doubling non-season prices.

  Dream Vacation

  I don’t usually leave reviews, but I had to after the wonderful experience we had here. My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and could not have had a better experience. Every single person was so friendly and helpful, from the front desk to the bar staff to the amazing workers at the pool and beach. There was always security out making sure everything was safe and they were also extremely friendly. We travel a lot, and I have never seen such a high a level of customer service from, quite literally, everyone. Our room was clean and well stocked. The lobby was gorgeous and the pool area was amazing!! There was music, free popcorn and snow cones, and even people walking around passing out fresh fruit one day. The beach chairs and umbrellas are included, and the beach was breathtaking. I can’t wait to come back here again!

  Amazing..

  Cesar is the Freddy Mercury ( Front man from the iconic rock & roll band QUEEN) of security.. Made me feel like I’ve known him forever.. Coming from a charter member associate at the Brooklyn bridge Marriott, 28 years strong..   Horrible Rooms

  We just stayed at the San Juan Marriott and let me warn you, these rooms are horrible. The beds are not queen size at all. The are so small if you are traveling with a family it’s impossible to sleep with more than one person per bed. Also, this room smelled like paint upon check in and look at the floors!! They were all dirty and disgusting and all scratched up! And we got upgraded to this room!! If you want to go in the pool good luck. It’s way overcrowded and isn’t big enough for the amount of rooms they have. Never again would I stay at this hotel.

  Pretty perfect

  Great location and lots to do. Food is wonderful. We enjoyed ordering room service. The vibe is perfect and housekeeping kept up with all of our needs. There was some noise for sure. The room next to us, the dogs in the apartment building close by, and there was a little concert or something one night. Don’t bother us too much, though. The staff is over the top accommodating, pleasant, and seemed genuinely concerned about making sure we were well cared for. We loved it.
