Diamond club not worth it
We are currently staying here and although enjoying the break and sunshine we are extremely disappointed in the diamond club package . We always upgrade whenever we stay at a resort to the premium service and I must say that this is the worse I have ever experienced. The resort is currently very busy likely due to American spring break but that is not an excuse to me for the lack of consistency in the provision of services. Firstly their diamond club check in had a ridiculous check in wait and a very unwelcoming receptionist at the end of it. Room had lots of the promised extras missing on arrival some of which still haven’t materialised and on a daily basis we are constantly chasing up things that have been missed. Such as fresh water ! On the plus side rooms are clean and furnished well . Food is nice definitely recommend Rio Splash park is great for the kids who are having a good time. Butlers are helpful Trying hard not to let the poor diamond club service spoil our holiday but do resent the extra money we paid for non existent service We definitely would not return here .

Excellent experience!
We had a fabulous experience at restaurant Zen Teppenaki with Chef Levi! He was very entertaining, had amazing knife skills and made a very tasty iguana, monkey, and anaconda dinner. (Actually chicken, steak, and salmon) . A definite must do at Royalton Splash! 5 stars!!

Don’t expect much
Fried rice was good, but having fried rice as an appetizer is unthinkable. They then prepare the meat as sushi is brought out to you. No dish for soy sauce, not even a separate divot. You are then given sushi with dry plain, not sushi rice accompanied by a spec of wasabi and a sliver of the wrong kind of ginger. The steak is the lowest grade possible and just makes the other meats unappealing. They mess up the drink orders and are just generally loud. If you enjoy a quiet dinner and quality food I do not recommend coming here.

Good Family Trip
Overall it's a very nice resort. The location is beautiful and the beach has nice soft sand. We enjoyed our time here during spring break and our kids had a blast. When we were initially checking in a concierge named Andrea introduced herself and that's where things got really good, she was amazing and helped us out so much during our trip. We forgot a charging cable for our phone and she even loaned us her personal cable for the duration of our trip. She helped us get restaurant bookings and was really just amazing. So if she comes up to you at check-in make sure to be friendly because she's the person you want to know! I don't have much bad to say otherwise except for the following: 1) The Nibbles snack bar by the pool has very bad selection of food. When you are by the pool in the sun you and the kids want to grab some quick food to eat. Well Nibbles has such amazing food choices as mashed potatoes, steamed cauliflower, hot-dogs cut up into little pieces floating in red sauce. Who in their right mind has ever said to themselves they feel like a plate of mashed potatoes by the pool? They really need to fix the menu at Nibbles and get some burgers, fries, nachos and dip etc quick easy to eat food North American people like. 2) The Mexican restaurant had such bad food I got the giggles when it arrived. My steak was miniature and it came with one fajita wrap and one pepper. It was like they ran out of food (maybe they did?). Other than these two things just go, it's a nice resort and you'll have a good time.

Pleasantly Impressed
We at breakfast here daily. Poached eggs over avocado toast for the win. The staff was amazing and we even grabbed dinner one night when we could, which was equally delicious! The hostess was sweet and accommodating. It’s also ocean front, so the ambiance was a plus!
