  Go to a real resort not a dollar store version

  What luxury hotel doesn’t have decent WiFi? They couldn’t fix the WiFi after 4 days of trying. Go to a real luxury resort. Skip this one

  No Cancellation Policy

  We are extremely disappointed with our experience booking a stay at the Royal West Indies Resort. The room setup was significantly different from what was described and expected at the time of booking. Key details that would have made a major impact on our decision-especially since we are traveling with elderly parents-were not disclosed beforehand. The room configuration poses serious concerns for our family’s comfort and safety. I reached out to the resort more than four months in advance of our scheduled holiday stay to kindly request a refund or accommodation change, only to be told by the manager, ______________, that despite expecting to be fully booked during the holidays and likely being able to rebook our room, they still refused to offer any flexibility or assistance. Given the resort’s unwillingness to work with us despite having ample notice and a valid reason, we feel completely let down. This experience has left a bad impression, and based on how our situation was handled, we cannot in good faith recommend this resort to anyone-especially those traveling with families or loved ones with special needs.

  The best resort stay ever!

  My husband and I were guests for a week. From the time we stepped on the property we were treated as if we had billionaires status. Our keys were ready, bags were taken with a smile, the hospitality could not be better. Once we were walking to our accommodations we were wowed by the tropical landscapes. This instantly gave relaxation and peace. The view from the room gave star status. The room had everything we needed, we weren’t planning to be there much anyway. The bar was excellent. Bartender Gabe, hit the nail on the head every time. The food from the restaurant was extremely tasty, we did not feel the need to go off property except just to say we explored what the island had to offer. I saved the be best for last, the hospitality employee named Tushae provided the best service we have ever received while traveling. If all hospitality employees handled themselves like she did there would never be a complaint. She was personable yet professional. My husband and I loved her. We call her specifically for everything and she delivered. The lady need acknowledgement from the resort in the way or promotion and raise. We are the Barreras’ from Texas and we definitely recommend this resort!

  Only place we stay. We return year after year. Treated like family and not overcrowded. The grounds are very well maintained with beautiful vegetation and two pools. Grace Bay beach is steps away. Sherman is fantastic! He and all the staff will take good care of you.

  Incredibly frustrating experience with this hotel. PAY ATTENTION to the cancellation policy and pray nobody gets sick, cancelled flights, etc. My friend and I booked for a quick birthday getaway. Our flight was cancelled the morning of, leaving us no way to get to the island until a day later. We tried for hours to get in touch with the resort to determine if our reservation could be modified or if it would be outright cancelled according to the no show policy. We ended up canceling the entire trip because we could not confirm that we would have a place to stay once we did arrive to the island 24 hours after our reservation was due to start. It’s been 5 days and have yet to hear a response from the hotel despite attempts on multiple platforms. We plan to reschedule our trip to Turks and Caicos later this fall, but doubt we be staying here.
