Loved the resort
Resort was wonderful, everything was well taken care of and they offered plenty of amenities. The beach access was great while also having access to Whalers Village via the trolley or walking path.

Stacey- Christmas miracle
We checked into Royal Lahaina Resort on a last minute booking to wait out an illness in my family. It was Christmas even when we made this last minute booking so everything was $800+ a night in the Kaanapali area. Since it was so last minute, we made the mistake of booking a tower King room that only fits 2 adults and didn’t have enough space for my 2 kids. Stacey at the front desk was amazing and helped us get into an ocean front bungalow for a discounted fare while securing us a rollaway bed that came with the upgraded room. She was truly a Christmas miracle when I needed one to help my son get over his pneumonia. Overall the resort is great with friendly staff, beach front views, nightly music and a wonderful breakfast buffet. Highly recommend!

Perfect Relaxing Stay for Solo Female Traveller
I stayed at Royal Lahaina for 5 days over Christmas and loved every minute - the staff is amazing, the beachfront is calm and the location is perfect... well-situated on the Beach Walk. I didn't have a car and felt no need for one.

Loved it!! Would love to stay again!
Great experience. I recommend this place. Stacy at the front desk was amazing. Great location. Check the Castaway Cafe walking distance from Royal Lahaina and Lahaina Moon's food at the resort was amazing. The waiter from Hungary was great, sorry forgot your name but excellent service. Pool was great and the beach, AMAZING!!

Great value, needs a hot tub tho, skip the spa.
Great staff, perfect welcome experience. Good location and value for money. Great beach access and quality of beach. Wonderful activities and amenities for the price like the pool and nightly concert under the tree (they desperately need a hot tub, that was such a bummer to find out). Parking was ample, but can be like $40 a DAY. Our package allowed us to choose between breakfast or parking and we chose parking. There are lots of wonderful breakfast places around that you should support instead anyways. Trolley ran frequently and was convenient for traveling to whalers. Walls are thin in the bungalows but I suggest staying there. They are quite charming but a single room could be flanked by other guest who may be loud and stomp. The spa was underwhelming we spent 700 on a couples massage and wasn’t really that impressed. But they have a great spot for outdoor massages. Overall we really enjoyed our experience. It was the minor things that took away from the overall experience. But that’s just me being picky. This is a perfect place to stay with large families or newly weds who appreciate the biggest bang for your buck. It’s not the fanciest or cheapest option on the island but is definitely one of the better options for the price.
