Great Maui Hotel that has been well maintained over 60 years
Excellent service with helpful staff that were happy to please. Hotel was clean and well maintained. Best valet staff we have encountered in our travels.

Royal Lahaina with a two year-old
We loved staying at the Royal Lahaina. We stayed in a King bungalow and it was perfect for my daughter my husband and I. The hotel staff was really friendly and prompt when needing any extra room supplies or advice on where to go on the island. Although we love the resort we did spend most of our time off resort exploring mostly because the beach right off the hotel is not great unless you are a very strong swimmer, the grounds were nice, but I found that the pools not super good for young kids. Both of the pools are deep, and have a steep sloped entry. I still rate this hotel, a five out of five because we genuinely enjoy every minute of it. I had a massage at the spa and it was magnificent, we also did the luau and it was wonderful. The dancers, especially the fire dancers were worth the trip! My daughter truly loved it and can’t stop talking about it. We will definitely be back.

Had a great stay and definitely will return to Royal Lahaina Resort.
We had a lovely experience during our stay. The location couldn’t be beat. We found most of the staff very friendly and accommodating, especially Barbara, Lulu and Ivan. Yes the resort is a tad dated, but we found it to be quaint and our room was clean. We wandered through other high priced resorts nearby and found them sterile. We took advantage of the complimentary Pilates classes (Tracy was an excellent instructor) and the outdoor musicians. For the price point, ocean views and location, it can’t be beat. Next time we come we want to book a bungalow.

Amazing staff, but watch out for garbage fees.
$40/ for self parking and $40/ "resort fee" taken out of $100/day incidentals hold. +taxes, this adds another 100 bucks per day to the trip thats not clear when you book. Bait and switch. Staff is great. Restaurant food is meh.
