    Poor hotel with expensive rates

    This is a pretty expensive hotel, that has poor rooms and low quality service. The lifts are inadequate for a hotel this size, resulting in queues…for a lift!! WTF? The rooms are tatty and not well cleaned. Additionally the aircon is so noisy that it actually woke the whole family up with its rattles. In asking for it to be repaired or us being moved to another room, we were told this was not possible. Bar service was ridiculously slow, we waited 30 mins for 3 simple drinks, and it wasn’t even busy. The only thing going for this hotel is its proximity to the beach. Best avoided.

    Miami Beach Dream

    Riu Plaza is situated at the great location. Amazing service. Great buffet. We were very pleased. The Hop on Hop off Big Bus Stop just outside the hotel. Very convenient. Reasonable priced. The staff are amazingly helpful and friendly. Thanks

    Enjoyed the stay. Room assigned was what I asked for in the reservation. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Room was serviced promptly and the breakfast was excellent. Parking was pricey but highly recommend this hotel.

    Location!

    Good sized rooms, excellent breakfast and good pool and beach. What’s not to like? In addition the bus stop is just outside the hotel entrence should you like to take the bus to the Aventura Mall for some shopping (3rd largest mall in the US). The free trams also stop just outside the hotel should you prefere a free trip to South Beach.

    Very nice location, bus right outside hotel, beach 1 minute walk, breakfast ok but hot food sometimes cold, staff friendly and helpful,,location ideal lots of shopping, free bus service ,beach is lovely very hot too. Recommend too friend
