Great location for time square and subway. Very easy to get to from JFK, after getting the airtrain to Jamaica, and then you have a selection of subways to pick. Rooms are spotlessly clean and cleaned daily by an amazing cleaning team, there are no carpets so great for asthmatics. Lifts can be slow in the morning but once your aware of it, it makes it easier. Breakfast is lovely and a good selection and the staff have the whole operation. Run so smoothly for the amount of people there is. Second time staying here and didn't disappoint.

60th Birthday Visit
Stayed at this hotel when we visited New York for my husbands 60th Birthday celebrations. On arrival after a long flight from Heathrow, check in was very easy and fast. We got to our room, 3903, to find it decorated with balloons and a banner for the Birthday Boy! We also had chocolates put in the room after we came back after a long day sightseeing. A very thoughtful touch. We stayed for 5 nights and had no complaints whatsoever. Right in the heart of New York and so close to Times Square and many more iconic attractions, this is perfect for your stay. Room cleaned well every day and breakfast was really good. Plenty of choice and a well organised system of seating you. The hotel is very busy but we didn't wait at all in queues for breakfast. The lifts were brilliant, not too long to wait at all. All staff were fabulous and friendly. Would not hesitate to stay here again if we come back to this fantastic city.

My stay at Ruiz Times Square Hotel was extremely disappointing. The rooms have no amenities at all—no complimentary water, no water kettle, no robes, no slippers. The rooms themselves feel empty and lifeless, with hard beds, an ugly and dirty floor, and a grimy phone and TV remote. When I asked the staff for water, the rude response I got was, “We are a hotel.” I still cannot understand what kind of hotel doesn’t provide water to its guests. Additionally, I was given twin beds and was told it was impossible to switch to a room with a larger bed. The overall atmosphere, cleanliness, and service were far below what you would expect from a hotel in this area. Sadly, I cannot recommend this place. It was far from a pleasant stay.

Give it a miss stay somewhere else
Restaurant staff are extremely rude and not helpful they like to argue with you Breakfast is a hit and miss, don’t really cater for vegetarians Will never return to this hotel

Always an excellent stay!
This hotel offers consistently excellent service. The rooms are clean, the staff are friendly and the offered breakfast is great. Our room on the 43rd floor had a nice view. This was my second stay this year and I will definitely use Rui Hotels when I travel.
