Fantastic hotel
We loved our family stay (2 adults and 2 children aged 17 and 13). The location is fantastic, just off Times Square. Check-in was quick and easy, with really friendly and welcoming reception staff. The room was lovely, clean, and spacious for our needs. We loved that the suitcases could be stored under the bed, which gave us more space. The shower was powerful (which we loved), the bed was very comfortable after long days out, and the room was quiet at night. We had been worried about breakfast queues after reading reviews, but we never queued — and we stayed over Christmas and New Year when it was very busy. Breakfast was great, with friendly staff, lots of choice, and everything fresh. Check-out was just as easy. The bellboy was fantastic and got us a taxi to JFK within five minutes at a very reasonable price. The hotel decor throughout is lovely and everything was very clean. The only downside was on New Year’s Eve. We were given wristbands to leave and return to the hotel, but when we tried to come back, the police wouldn’t allow us through, so we had to wait a very long time. This wasn’t the hotel’s fault, but it was frustrating as guests should be able to return without waiting for hours. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel with great staff - would definitely book again

Great hotel, brilliant location and good value!
Great location, just off the end of Times Square. We stayed on the 16th floor and noticed a little low-level traffic noise, but nothing that bothered us. The room was spacious and very clean, with two queen-size beds (we had booked a twin room) and a great shower. We also loved the view — you could just see the Times Square billboards, which was a nice touch. Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. Although it was busy, it was very well managed by the staff. There’s a happy hour in the downstairs bar from 4:00–8:00 pm, offering very reasonably priced cocktails, wine, and hot food. We visited several times for drinks and even ate there one evening. We would definitely return.

Too chaotic for me...
Stayed here from Dec 28th for 5 nights. Upon arrival the lobby was chaos. It took us nearly 30mins to check in. People standing and sitting everywhere. I understand this time of the year is probably the busiest but the hotel is not big enough to cope with the amount of people staying. they only have one cafe/bar for drinks which is on the ground floor by reception, there is not enough seating, v poor infact. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. However I was very disappointed by the coffee, only available in pre made machines, it was v bad, also orange juice very poor quality. The rooms are small, especially when there are 2 double beds in them. we had a very early morning check out. I ended up leaving my purse in room, hotel offers a third party service to deliver. this has cost me over $250, which i feel is shocking! I will definitely return to New York but wouldn't stay here again. Will be booking a quieter more boutique hotel.
