    Checkout the Checkout Policy!

    The hotel has much to commend it but once you've checked out you're out! Although we'd left our bags to be picked up later in the day for an evening flight we were denied access to the upstairs restaurant once we'd handed in our keys at check out. This is a short sighted policy rigoursly enforced which effectively deprives the hotel of the extra revenue from the meals we would have ordered. Management should revise this daft policy which leaves guests with a bad memory of an otherwise pleasant stay.

    Nice but big hotel

    Very nice hotel right in the middle of Madrid. Near to all attractions, either by foot or metro. Very big hotel with some rooms having an interior view. The bed was good, nothing wrong with it, but could be better.

    Great Hotel and Location

    This was our first Riu stay that wasn't an all-inclusive and it was great. The location close to the Royal Palace and Grand Via. Access to the metro was across the street. The breakfast was excellent and reminded me of being back at one of their all-inclusive resorts. The roof-top is a must experience and was very cool.

    Central and comfortable

    Central location of the hotel. Comfortable room. No disturbances. Polite staff. Great breakfast.The toiletries were only available upon demand.
