    Stay at the Riu Palace

    We cannot say enough about our stay at the Riu Tropical Palace. From the time we step foot on the premises until we left, we were well taken care of. Special thanks you to Deandria at reception, Kamika at the Negril restaurants and the bartenders, Andre, Richard, Andrew and all of these others that made sure we were refreshed. These are the reason that we will be back at your beautiful resort. The app was an easy tool to use. I appreciate that you can make reservations at any time without visiting a desk. We also used it for some minor maintenance issues in our room. They issues were addressed very quickly.

    Girls trip

    We had an excellent stay. The only issue we encountered was regarding a date shift request we had requested through delta vacations. Our flight was cancelled, so we arrived a day later and requested to check out a day later than originally booked. Everything was supposed to be taken care of upon arrival but we were told that whoever confirms that they can accommodate the date change doesn’t work at the hotel so delta vacations had to continue to contact the person and make sure they updated the information with the hotel. We had to wait for our rooms even though we arrived after check in time and had to spend time speaking to the delta vacations rep upon arrival to ensure the hotel representative updated our check out day.

    Everything was perfect

    We had the pleasure of staying at the Riu Palace Negril from April 5 to 12, 2025, and we cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Every aspect of our stay exceeded expectations — from the exceptional beachfront location and the pristine, safe, and expansive beach, to the outstanding culinary offerings and warm, attentive staff. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and equipped with every amenity one could need. The overall experience was truly flawless.

    Awesome vacation

    Our family had a wonderful time. The food was great, clean and beautiful beach area. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only suggestion would be to improve the app for making dinner reservations. It was complicated to make a reservation for our group of seven.

    Riu Tropical Negril

    I was pleasantly surprised by the class of this resort, given I had never been to any of the Riu resorts. The drive to the resort is a bit of a pain, but once you get there you'll be very happy you have. The food is top quality whether its the Streak House or any of the a la carte restaurantsThe buffets have a large selection and the quality makes you feel at home. The beach is muck better than the 7 Mile beach with clear water clean beach and swimmable. We love to walk and we did more than 25 minutes in each direction Chairs are not hard to find. The service was good whether it be at the front desk or our rooms. The rooms are adequate but not luxurious. There are 3 pools although not big with plenty of umbrellas and covered canapés. My only disappointment was the entertainment . I would have enjoyed having a sports bar on those rainy days. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Its my understanding its up for renovation which will definitely give it a more refreshing look. Thanks Marc Phillips
