We had our wedding at this Riu in November 2024, it was amazing to say the least. We had 50 people incl us stay on the resort and 13 people come to the wedding off resort. The staff are amazing here and the food is also amazing considering it’s an all inclusive resort (usually the food isn’t that good but the buffet even had lobster!) We had guests ages 9months to 75 years old and everyone had an incredible time. Thank you for making our wedding so special! I highly recommend this resort

I am very disappointed with my recent stay at your hotel. There were several issues that left me questioning the quality of the property and its service. Firstly, the lack of entertainment and nightlife was a major letdown. This is typically a highlight of resort stays, but it felt like there was nothing to do in the evenings. My experience with the rooms was equally disheartening. The first room I was assigned (in Building 1) had no working Wi-Fi, and the room phone didn’t work either. I was moved to a room in Building 2, but it was damp and smelled strongly of mold, making the stay uncomfortable. The challenges didn’t stop there. The morning after my arrival, I needed to work but couldn’t due to the lack of Wi-Fi in my room. This forced me to go to the lobby in search of a connection. To make matters worse, I was shuffled from one spot to another just to find a functional outlet for my laptop. This entire process was incredibly frustrating and unacceptable for a hotel. Another issue was the demeanor of the staff. While I encountered two friendly and helpful individuals—Chris at the front desk and Paradise from the entertainment crew—the majority of the staff seemed disgruntled and unapproachable. Overall, my stay was far from enjoyable, and I cannot recommend this hotel to others. Serious improvements are needed in both facilities and service.

Excellent
Food was great, beach and water amazing. It's a "small" cozy hotel ressort where everything is close by. Not a lot of animations or music for those who like something that move more. Personnally was happy with a calm vacation.

Wonderful resort
Our top choice. Great food, beautiful beach and ocean, lovely pools and great staff. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

Arrived late in the evening. Reception staff were pleasant and directed us to our room which was clean and spacious. The mini bar had not been restocked prior to our arrival. Had to wait until the next morning for this to be done. There were sachets of drinks but no British style teabags or milk and no kettle, so we asked for these and they were brought to us. The toiletries were wall mounted in the bathroom. You had to squeeze the bottles to get the contents out, which is difficult for anybody with arthritic hands. The ground floor room's terrace was not private as there were guests and staff constantly walking past and so I did not feel like doing any sunbathing there. I cannot walk very far, due to a bad knee and found that it was a long walk to any of the amenities, e.g. Buffet, restaurants, bars etc., and I found only two toilet blocks which were also a long walk away. I would avoid this hotel complex if you have mobility problems. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas but there is is no seating (or shade) in these areas. Large range of cocktails available, but mostly pre-mixed. Bar staff were friendly for most of the time except for if you told them they had got your drink wrong. Some of the bar staff were likely to break out into periods of noisy shouting, one even barked like a dog a few times. Did they think they were being "entertaining"? The onsite gift shop was very expensive.
