We had an amazing stay. The hotel is clean and beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful a special mention to Juan 1 and Arias who went above and beyond to make our meal times special by decorating tables for our honeymoon! Food was great with lots of choice. Rooms are clean but do need a little updating. We can't wait to go back!

Nice resort
We had big problems with the dirty sheets and towels. In the night the british tourosts were too noisy when coming from the club.

Amazing Holiday
This was one of the best holidays that I have ever had, even the 9 hour flight seems a distant memory We spent 2 weeks at the Riu Palace Punta Cana from 13th of February First impressions were really good and things just got better the more we got to know the place Room was great, plenty of space, cleaned every day, fridge restocked everyday and optics in the room, which made it very easy to enjoy a g & t on the balcony !! Food was great, with plenty of choice in the main buffet restaurant, and you also have unlimited use of the a la carte restaurants during your stay We only used the Italian and the steak house and they were both excellent Pool area is great and we had no issue getting sunbeds, but such a long walk to the beach.....I am being sarcastic as it is literally 20 steps from pool to beach and it is a beach to die for......amazing is the only word to describe it As good as the facilities are, it is the staff who make this such a fabulous place. All of the staff are great, but I have to give a special mention to Arias in the main restuarant, and Marcos and Ariel who kept us supplied with many, many, many drinks and were great fun to talk to. We were there as a family of 8 ranging in age from 6 to 62 and I can honestly say that every single one of us loved the place, to the point that we are allready looking at returning same time next year

We enjoyed the hotel for the most part. The grounds and common areas were well maintained and clean. The rooms are outdated. The toilet did not function well and the room had a very musty smell. Mini bar and coffee was not restocked adequately on 2nd day. Food experience was mixed. Steak house and Italian restaurant were good but buffet tended to be mediocre. Food often cold and lacking flavor

Wonderful Resort and Staff
This was our third trip to Riu Palace Punta Cana, and again it did not disappoint! The building and grounds are beautiful and meticulously maintained. The staff are very friendly and courteous.The food overall was very good.
