  perfect trip with my friends

  This was a great place for a girls trip. The property is a really nice size. The beach is beautiful - nice smooth sandy bottom in the ocean. LOTS of chairs available. Beach drink service is pretty good but the bar is only steps away if you're thirsty-lol. The rooms are a bit dated but clean and a decent size. Great water pressure and hot water seemed plentiful. Requested service items were acted on very quickly. Food was quite good - lots of choice at the buffet. A la cartes left a bit to be desired in choice and quality but never went hungry there. If you needed a snack later -the buffet was open until 10PM.

  Rooms were NOT good

  Toilet wouldn’t flush. Had to ask 3 times to have it fixed. Mirrors and shelves in bathroom were warped. No wash cloths or bath mat without asking-every day. AC was NOT cool. Asked to be in a room near our children (one a minor), we were 25 rooms apart.

  My stay at the hotel Riu Palace Punta Cana {3-11 thru 3-17 2026]

  The daytime activities staff were overall decent, Beba did a good job of interacting with the guests during pool exercise time, and during yoga time. The beach was nice & clean, little seaweed to speak of, decent beach side drink service, and while we favored the "adult/general" pool over the "Party Pool" or water vollyball pool, between the pools or the ocean, there were pleanty of options to enjoy. In conclusion, I have to say while our vacation started off on a negative note, thanks to the efforts of Alejandra & Joan in particular, they turned around what would have been an overall sour-experience, into a positive one. Our sincere thanks to these two individuals who truly epitomize what dedication to providing a positive customer experience is all about. ~JT & Sammy

  Great service

  We went to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel was great and very accommodating, the staff was exceptional, and the entertainment was amazing. We will definitely go back.

  2 weeks in Paradise

  This was our second time there, the food wasn’t as good as it was last year, just average. The service was great at the buffet, our favorite waiters were Antonio, Biembo and Ruth! They were always there to greet us and seat us, got our drinks right away!! The Italian restaurant was terrible, I had the cod, it tasted like tuna fish, definitely not cod! My boyfriend had the ravioli, he said they tasted fishy! The Steakhouse was ok, my boyfriend said his steak was fatty! Rooms were cleaned very good everyday. Our first week at the beach was very nice. Our second week sucked, (March 7-14) Tons of Spring Breakers, they completely take over the beach, they are loud and put their chairs practically on top of you!!! I thought this resort didn’t accept huge groups of Spring Breakers, but there was a group of at least 40 kids that sat right in front of us, that was the only thing that really bothered me on this vacation! The beach is very clean, hardly any seaweed. Javier and Brian always made sure we had drinks, they were awesome!
