  Wonderful hotel

  This hotel is probably the best we’ve ever stayed in! The room was lovely: clean, a good size and well designed with a large bathroom. The room and the bathroom was well equipped with tea/coffee facilities, which were replenished every day. The food at this hotel was delicious with plenty of variety. A member of our group is vegetarian and he had plenty of choice in the buffet - not so much in the two restaurants. The staff at the hotel could not have been better. They were helpful and attentive. The hotel room had a lovely view of the dunes and the sea. We had a decent sized balcony.

  Maspalomas Return Trip

  I returned to the Riu Palace for the food (excellent), service (excellent) and the views (normally excellent) but had to swap a quiet room with a view of the smaller pool for a room overlooking the bar roof and little else, to guarantee a double bed. Stay was good as usual but the room view (rooms 1070 through 1075) from the balcony was non existent. Be careful when checking in - ask about the balcony view. It doesn’t have to be a view of the sea or dunes but a view of a high wall and the roof is not ideal.

  Fantastic hotel

  I had the best time here - all the staff were very polite, attentive and welcoming. It had a very calm and peaceful atmosphere which was great to relax. Will definitely come again

  Best of Riu hotels

  Without a doubt the best Riu hotel there is. Stayed at Riu Palace Maspalomas many times & this hotel can't be beaten. They deserve more than 5*. Thanks to everyone of the staff here for all the years we have come both front room & behind the scenes staff couldn't do more for you. Will be returning soon

  Hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas 5 night stay

  Recently spent 5 nights at the Hotel Riu Palace Maspalomas. A fantastic hotel and staff. Our room was a sea view on the top floor in the central section of the hotel. Wonderful view of the Dunas de Maspalomas and the grounds of the hotel. The room was exceptionally clean and this standard was maintenance throughout our stay by the staff. The hotel staff were all very helpful and friendly whenever we spoke with them and provided first class service making our stay very enjoyable. The hotel is adults only and has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere during the day with live entertainment from 6 PM in the evening. The shows were all good with a mixture of clam and lively music. I would really recommend the Friday night “white” or “neon” party, which is at another Rui hotel which is 10 minutes away by a free Rui coach. This was a great, fun, family friendly party night with lots of music and free drinks. a la carte buffet restaurant served a verity of dishes and there was always plenty of food available ! The breakfast was equally as good. The speciality restaurants are also good. Lots of sunbeds and areas to sit. There were still a few people who liked to reserve their sunbeds at dawn and not turn up until lunchtime ☹ , but most of the time there was available space. The immediate neighbourhood is mostly apartments, but a short taxi ride ( approx. 6 Euro ) will take you into the heart of Playa del Inglés which has loads of places to eat and drink. There is also a Supermarket opposite the hotel which is useful for water and snacks. Really enjoyed our stay and loved the atmosphere and vide of the hotel. Thank you Rui Place Maspalomas team.
