Perfect
Clean hotel, well maintained, friendly and helpful staff, peaceful, spectacular location adjacent the dunes. The food is superb. Despite thinking the white party can’t be as good as advertised, it was actually really good. Met some lovely people and would definitely return.

Paradise at Riu Palace Maspalomas "!
The room was excellent and maid service superb ...Marissa and senor Jorge looked after me so well .restaurant team incredible Mateo Reuben Evelyn Deneicee Carlos Enrique Juan B maitre d and Claudio and Maria who tops up the champagne 🍾 counter every day !!! Reception Toni Eneleido 1 Loretto Agustin Antonio Sara Sandra Alba and Sabrina ! Incredible reception ...provided ice buckets every day and taxi to airport when hotel car delayed ! Pool side Paco Gabriela Kevin Gabriela Umberto amazing ! Oasis and Krystal restaurants brilliant ! Pool area with Santiago and Koko superb spotless !!! Congratulations to the chefs Antonio and Selena and Bridget and all chef team !! Brilliant stay

Dec 27, 2025Winter break at Riu Maspalomas
We visited in December 2025 for one week. This is the second time staying at a Riu palace brand hotel. The hotel is ideally located for walking to the Central area of Playa de Ingles and also to Meloneras area. The hotel is spacious with tasteful decor throughout. The pool and sun terraces are spotless and plentiful. The sun beds are quite hard and do not have a mattress that you would expect with a 5☆ hotel, we never had a problem getting a sun bed at any time of day, though we observed that guests were reserving sun beds in the morning and not using till later, which is against hotel policy but was not enforced. The food is plentiful and varied and there was something for every taste, though occasionally we found the food to salty for our taste. They should be commended for the vegan / vegetarian options and labelling of food. Our room was on the third floor (3002) and was very spacious and kept immaculately by our hardworking and friendly housekeepers. We paid an additional premium for an sea view, and whilst we did have a view looking towards the sea, the disappointing aspect was the balcony, as after 11am it was in the shade. This was a great disappointment as we could not use it in the afternoon to enjoy the view as there was no sun to warm us and in winter it was too chilly to sit in the shade. When you pay a premium you expect more, we would recommend avoiding rooms 3001 to 3013 and the floors below if you want to have sun on you balcony, especially in winter time. The receptionist at checkin was describing the room, but omitted to tell us it would be in shade, that it overlooked a public footpath used 24/7 to the dunes and also a complex of bungalows, and we were disappointed by this lack of information The hotel has a more of a 'formal' feel, this is not reflection on the hardworking, professional and friendly staff, just a feeling we had. We would stay here again but would request a room in full sun.
