    Pretty good!

    Stayed at the resort during peak spring break. 100% better than Sante Fe and the sister properties. More then once I reflected on how happy I chose Baja That said, I would give this resort a solid 4 out of 5 stars. Many many good remarks but certainly not 5 stars The good - great location and close to downtown - food was pretty good! From the buffet to the specialty restaurants, no complaints. We did the buffet for breakfast and lunch and soeciality restaurant for dinner. Found it reasonably easy to get a table - rooms were nice and beds comfortable - the beach quality was great for Cabo standards - generally modern and current facilities - the drinks and staff at “gold bar” are fantastic! - Pools were great and we did it generally easy to find chairs The not so good - entertainment wasn’t the best. The daytime activities were generally non existent. The evening shows were low budget and fairly boring. For example, one night the main event was a game of Kahoot - service at the pool was very inconsistent. Even with tips, did not seem to improve speed or consistency - the drink quality is not what I’d consider “top shelf”. While they advertise this, drinks are generally average and low shelf quality - while the specialty restaurants were easy to get into, I wouldn’t say any of them we’re can’t miss - the onsite activities company (if I recall - called Caribe) was generally a rip off. We booked a coupe of excursions through them and did not find them to be helpful or of high quality In a retail comparison, the Riu Baja is definitely not wal-mart (That’s the sante fe) but a solid Target. Hence why we rate it 4 out of 5 stars

    Best vacation spot in Los Cabos

    I have been to this resort multiple times and each and every time it has been incredible! Highly recommend. Karlita, Fernanda, Jesus, Luti, Lupo, Arturo and more have made our stay another memorable one. Hasta la proxima!

    Great service overall!

    Great service overall staff was extremely nice. Food was great for breakfast. Some restaurants were a bit iffy however, overall I would give it a nine out of 10.

    Nice resort

    Overall this resort was nice like most of the Riu resorts that we have stayed at in the past. I will say that if you want to get a good spot at the pools, you must have to get down to the pools by 6:00am. We triedputting our towels at around 7:00am but all the good spots were already taken. I tjink that people were leaving their towels out on chairs all night which i thought was prohibited. The food in all the Ala Carte restaurants was pretty good, but the buffet was really lacking in quality. Overall i would give this resort a 4.25 out of 5, there is room for improvement.
