-Check in - very quick and easy -Rooms were average with a soda, beer, seltzer, water and there were 4 alcohol dispensers. There are ice machines located in the hallways for mixers -Adult pool is SMALL. No floaties allowed. If you want a larger pool you need to swim with the kiddos. Water in the pool is COLD, you do adjust after time. They do a nice job of keeping kids out of the pool. -There is only 1 spot to get food by the pool, be prepared to eat the same thing day after day for 7 days or however long your there. They never change it up. Gets old very fast -Restaurants, we ate, Steakhouse, Italian, Buffet and Asian all of which were decent -The best part of this resort is the staff. They are simply amazing. Always smiling and full of energy. Special shout out to Shaq at the adult pool, (thank you for keeping us well hydrated), bartenders at the adult pool, don't know his name but thank you for giving my husband 'BREAKFAST' every morning. He loved it! Miguel, Ojay, Sleepy and Rooster with the Entertainment Team. I don't have words strong enough for you four. You can truly tell you LOVE your jobs. Your dancing skills and energy made me tired just watching! I could honesty watch you for hours...........My favorite was the Rock Show, Foam Party and Michael Jackson show. AMAZING!!! -the only negative I have about the entertainment is that there is none by the adult pool during the day. Other resorts have entertainment by the pool during the day to keep the guest busy. There is literally nothing to do, the entertainment was always in the kids pool area, nothing in the adult pool until the foam party on Friday. It's such a fun group you should really focus more on the adult pool entertainment. Its gonna take awhile for me to get the phrase "pop the balloon" out of my head LOL -if you go please walk the beach, in front of the buffet there is a shelter where a precious puppy lives, please bring her food and water. Without that she has none. She needs medical attention so if your a vet and going, please bring supplies. -I would not return to this resort as an adult with no kids however its perfect for families.

What can I say but fantastic. We booked this holiday very last minute and really wasn't sure we had done the right thing but this hotel is amazing. From the check-in, to the perfect room and the best staff ever. We only wish we had booked for longer. I am coeliac and was a bit concerned but all food in the buffet was marked up as to what ingredients there were. Every morning at breakfast there was gluten free bread and some times gluten free English muffins. We managed to book into the on-site restaurants very easily through the RIU app. Best thing to do was to book early in the morning for the following day. We went to the Napoli, Kyoto and the steak restaurant. We never saw a lot of the entertainment but what we did get to see/hear was very very good. We booked a couple of trips through TUI - Jamwest, beach, catamaran and Ricks Cafe one of the days. It was a good trip but we found that, due to the size of the island and where we were staying, we spent a lot of time on the mini bus. The second one we booked was the Blue Mountain and Bob Marley Museum. Blue Mountain was ok but only go if you dont mind travelling quite a long way up the mountain! I found it a bit like being on a fairground ride! Bob Marley Museum was a fantastic experience. All in all we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend.

We truly enjoyed our stay, but the way our departure was handled was unacceptable and has overshadowed an otherwise nice trip. Our airport transfer was arranged through the hotel’s affiliated transportation company. We were given a confirmed pickup time and followed all instructions. Despite this, no driver arrived. There was no communication, no update, and no response to calls or messages — all while we were traveling with a toddler and facing the risk of missing our flight. Because the transportation was booked through the hotel’s partnered provider, we trusted it would be reliable. When it failed, we were left scrambling and had to pay $77+ out of pocket for a last-minute taxi to the airport. While the front desk apologized, this was a service arranged through the hotel’s official travel partner, and guests should not bear the financial or emotional burden of that failure. We are requesting reimbursement for the taxi expense at minimum, and we believe additional goodwill compensation would be appropriate given the stress and risk this situation caused — especially traveling with a young child. We hope management reviews this seriously and makes it right.
