We are just about to leave after an amazing 11 nights at the aquarelle hotel and what a beautiful stay we have had! We have 0 complaints about this place. From start to finish the food, entertainment & service has been second to none. Nothing is too much for any member of staff and I must say the Jamaicans are the most friendly people we have come across. They have made this stay absolutely beautiful. I would also like to mention Nay Nay & Star Fire from the kids club who work so hard and always bring the energy and fun for the kids. So thank you to all the staff who work tirelessly from the gardeners, entertainers, bar staff & waitresses who have made this a holiday to remember, we will be back 😍

This location is amazing,
We stayed 5 nights and we were very happy to have chosen this location. The beach is very nice and calm, clean. I must say that the entire staff make this location outstanding. The entertainment group was amazing, as they made their way through the entire resort greeting people and reminding them of the activities. They are truly a spectacular group, providing a festive mood every day. The dining room staff was amazing! Monique in the breakfast buffet greeted us every morning with the happiest smile and warmth. In the evening we were seated by Kaleb, a very attentive sweet young man. As for the food, Pepe for lunch was outstanding! The best jerk chicken ever, the most moist chicken breast I have ever had ! The head grill guy would walk all the tables asking if everything was ok, and I saw him personally bring food over to a few tables. His passion for what he does shows ! The dining room food quality did get better as our week progressed. I did enjoy trying Jamaican food every day. That part was such a treat! Truth be told the hotel did look like it had a corporate visit, because all of a sudden the dinner buffet had a much better selection and presentation was stepped up a bit. Overall cleaning through out the entire resort was top notch. The daiquiri bar has such a fun team, and drinks were spot on! They make it point to greet every one , and remember their drinks! Had a lovely time. The only thing I felt that could be better is the sports bar food. Having stayed in four other Rui locations in different countries the sports bar food always disappoints maybe take this up a bit.

The Riu Palace Aquarelle is a visual triumph the newest "Generation 4" design from RIU is sleek, modern, and perfectly captures that Falmouth coastline. However, while the hardware is 10/10, the "Palace" service still has some growing pains. The Service Divide I’ll be direct: the lobby waitresses are noticeably slow. If you’re expecting a quick cocktail while lounging in the beautiful lobby, you’ll be waiting. It’s a stark contrast to the rest of the resort where things move much faster. The Pool & Sports Bar The pool scene is where this resort finds its rhythm. Melissa at the pool is absolutely amazing she is attentive, fast, and knows exactly how to keep the vibes high. For a casual break, the Sports Bar is easily the best on-site. It’s open 24/7 and is the most reliable spot for a quick bite or a solid drink in a chilled, air-conditioned setting. Dining & Entertainment The restaurants were a pleasant surprise; the quality is high, especially at the specialty spots like Napoli and Kyoto. But the real heartbeat of Aquarelle is the entertainment team. Miguel was absolutely fantastic his energy is infectious and he single handedly elevated every evening show I attended.

Mar 19, 2026Scam arists, terrible food, terrible service and overall an awful place
The worst food I've ever had at a resort and the rudest, worst service I've ever received. I couldn't believe how bad it was. 99% of the staff were extremely rude, there was only 2 people who were actually pleasant. We paid more to upgrade to an Ocean View room, didn't receive and they refused to do anything about it, including refund us the additional amount paid. They also advertise a "$651 resort credit" which is 100% fake and false advertising. If you search "credit" in the reviews you will find a ton of other people also mentioning it.

Great trip, very relaxing great food great accommodations. Would do again! Stay with the main dining, sports bar or food at the pool. Restaurants were.. meh
