A modern resort, a piece of paradise. Beautiful.
We enjoyed a lovely stay here for 2 weeks. The hotel is beautifully new and clean. Our room was in block 2- always serviced immaculately. The staff are all so friendly and happy. Really enjoyed the food and drinks- great choices. 24hr sports bar was brilliant. The beach was beautiful and peaceful. Loved that we could use the kayaks and pedalo’s for free. We booked a snorkelling trip through the hotel scuba caribe guys and it was ace. The entertainment team were such fun and delivered great shows. We really enjoyed the Rum Shot band a lot. My only thoughts for improvement- I couldn’t see any hand sanitiser on offer anywhere. I always think it’s a good idea to have the stations around food and drinks areas as everyone is touching the same serving spoons etc and you can’t be sure everyone has clean hands. Note to self- remember to take a small my bottle myself in my bag as this could be the case in other hotels now also. Overall, we couldn’t complain about anything, it was amazing.

Very pleasant stay, friendly helpful staff.
Great hotel and service etc , had a great time. Great room ( for extra cost , but worth the expense). Staff very friendly. Beautiful views across Bloody Bay. The only thing spoilt our stay was the guests in neighbouring rooms (4214) who insisted on smoking cigarettes and ganja in their rooms ( which set off the fire alarms - three times on our first night ) they also smoked on their balconies which meant we had to shut our screen doors and go inside instead of enjoying the views. ( smoking in rooms and on balconies is expicitly forbidden in the hotel). We informed reception several times but nothing changed. I would suggest no smoking penalty signs on balconies would be a good start. Our only problem was with the swimming from the beautiful beach , where after about 3 metres the bottom became a rather soft and clinging mud which stopped one getting into deeper and clear water. Safe and secure. Dealers leave you alone after a polite no thank you! Special thanks to Kadia in the Green Island restaurant and the maid who serviced room 4213 from 22nd of January until the 5th of February

Fantastic We would return Excellent Resort
We travelled in a group of 15 to Rui Negril, we were all very impressed by the resort, the standards were very high. The cleanliness and attention to detail, plenty of staff to assist at the bars or restaurants. Lots of beach chairs and pool chairs. Very stylish hotel rooms, plenty of space and everything you could need. The resort was recently renovated and upgraded, we could not find fault. The restaurants and food were truly wonderful, we loved the buffet where you could find, pasta, stir fry, plenty of fish or chicken and the pork and beef was tender, lots of salad options, mussels, shrimps etc. Desserts were all good and a chocolate fountain and ice cream. The Ala carte Restaurants were all good, and the servers excellent, we found even the wine was good. Entertainment was good. The beach nice and sandy, only drawback while we were there, was the ocean was not clear due to the weather, which was making the waves crash, but also you could not view the bottom of the ocean to enter. Which is nothing to do with the hotel. We all said we would highly recommend and return one day. A great place to relax...

Great for Families!
Just returned from a 1 week stay at this lovely resort! Pro's Beautiful Property - modern, very clean. I noticed that the property is always being cleaned, never seen anything out of place from the rooms to the pools, restaurants and beaches Staff - Very polite and friendly! Everyone always has a smile on their face and no passes without saying hello. They are well trained in their work areas, and you can see they work very hard. Kuddos to the sstaff and managment! Restaurants - lots to choose from! A la cartes were good but the buffet was better! during our stay we opted to dine at the buffet for dinners, lobster nights were amazing! One of the best selections in buffets I've seen at a resort. Bars - Bar staff is amazing, they knew how to make many cocktails and spirits. It was noticable how clean they kept the areas and each night the bars are cleaned out including the equipment. That was a plus to see and know that hygene is important in this resort. Rooms - Spacious and clean. My husband and I had 2 double beds in our room, the beds are huge and comfortable, love the blackout blinds, room bar with liuqor dispensers, restocked fridge every 2 days (can be daily if you tip!), iron, hairdryer, clean shower with basic shower amenities. The only con is the bathroom counter which is small and couldnt hold my make up and toiletry bag. Entertainment - There is an entertainment team who is full of energy! Love them, kept you laughing and dancing all day. Amazin night performances too Beaches - lots of lounge chairs to select from you wont need to rush from the pool bar right to the beach line. sand is swept nightly and didnt experience much mosiquitos only a bit of sand flies. Its not the 7 mile beach but lovely. Be sure to walk and support the vendors/stalls who offer amazin deals if you want to bargain. I enjoyed Don's lobsters and walking to the end there is the bar called Office by Nature--a must visit. Con's Location - transportation is almost 2 hours from Montego Bay Airport, if you dont like long bus rides you will not enjoy the bumpy ride but once you arrive you will smile again! :) Its so welcoming, your greeted with smiles and a refreshment. Dining - The Riu App only allows reservations 48 hours in advance, a la cartes are ok, my family much preferred the buffet, fast and good selection Nightlife - If you are a family/person that enjoys the days and early nights then this location is perfect, nothing to do after the entertainment is over at 11PM. The 24 hour sports bar is good, but would benefit having music or a DJ for groups that have a wedding, anniversary, birthday, etc. I travelled with my husband and 2 adult kids and we found it difficult not to stay bored ended up leaving the resort at night. Buildings - if you have any issues with walking, senior or have a disability, you will need to request ahead of time for Building #1. The other buildings are far away from the main building and main pools which can make it difficult. Just ask, front desk staff was very accommodating once I placed a request and changed from building 3 to 1.

Lovely staff
Just returned after a 10 night stay. I shall write as I found but everyones opinion differs. The journey from the airport was not great, nothing to do with the hotel but be warned the roads are horrendous with many potholes, it took nearly 2 hrs after flying over 10 hrs so very long journey. Upon arrival, we were offered a drink in reception, check in was quick and wristbands applied. Our room was ok but too far from reception for partner to walk, we changed next day to block 1 , lovely big room 1026, however no view from balcony but it did the job, two massive beds, really comfortable, double sink unit, huge shower and drinks cabinet included. The hotel is very well kept, lovely gardens, clean pools, bar staff amazing, all so happy to assist you, loved the jammin bar, great staff, they do great cocktails. Well done to all of them Food was mainly plentiful, however some days the buffet food could be better, breakfast sometimes was luke warm or they had ran out of eggs and bread which is crazy for the amount of guests. Overall there's plenty to choose from, other restaurants available on the app. The beach was small compared to what we're used to, it was clean but nothing special, lots of beds available all of good quality. The hotel we found was secluded, nowhere outside to walk to, however there are boats to take trips over to 7 mile beach or go to Ricks cafe which was amazing day out. You can walk along the beach where there are some shacks, all selling the same , it's a nice walk and a bar to stop at half way. We took a taxi to the black river and saw many crocodiles, the area had been hit by the hurricane but they are doing their best to repair it. Glad we saw this. Entertainment was brilliant, the team worked day and night to make sure everyone was having a great time, the night shows were also amazing, they really deserve a shout, well done all. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed It was our first time in Jamaica and enjoyed our stay, we made the most of the time there, if you're happy just to stay at the hotel and chill, this is for you, the staff will make your holiday a happy one .
