We traveled as a group of 6, our room location was perfect!! Biggest issue was the lock mechanism on the door kept malfunctioning finally after being locked out for the 4th time it was finally replaced! Resort is beautiful even saw dolphins playing from the beach!
Be careful of the food !
I just got back from staying at this resort for 5 days. I found the room to be outdated and pillows lumpy. Staff seemed grumpy and not helpful. The grounds and beach were lovely with lots of lounge chairs all around. The coffee never seemed fresh and the worst thing that happened was I got food poisoning!! It was horrible and I was violently ill throwing up and Diarrhea. I don't think food is fresh or well cooked. The Steakhouse meal was awful ! No butter for bread and the steak was like a cheap slab of meat. The nightly shows were lots of fun and the pool seemed clean. Lots of families and young kids.
Rooms need a reno and food is very average
Hotel is in dire need of a reno. Our sink would not drain. The room towels are paper thin and look like they’ve been around for years. Food is very mediocre. The buffet always offers the same food with very little variation. The grounds/pools are still fairly nice still and well kept.
Nothing good to say…
Really not much was great about this hotel and this stay. We stay at a lot of all inclusives in Mexico and this has to be up there for the worst. The good: -drinks were strong. Strongest I’ve ever seen at an AI hotel… Strong enough to get people sloppy which is hard to do at an AI -nice staff -enjoyed the towel folds by the housekeeping -shooters down by the pool were fun -lots and lots of chairs by the pool and the beach The bad/ugly: -dated rooms… ours smelled like 1977 when we walked in -no hot water on the 6th floor… AT ALL… 5 days with no hot shower -about half the plates/cups/silverware we received were dirty from the previous guest -bringing food out of the restaurant is it allowed… not to your room, not to the pool chairs, nothing -no waiter service for drinks at the pool or beach -much of the food was completely inedible.. and I mean ABSOLUTELY terrible… went hungry one night because after waiting 25 min for a table at the Asian restaurant there was nothing palatable left to consume You have a lot of options in all inclusives in the country of Mexico. I highly recommend skipping this one.
Trip to Mexico
The one area that needs improvement is the bathrooms, there were many times when there was no soap to wash your hands. The doors didn’t close very good in the one by the beach. The staff were all very accommodating and pleasant
