Everyone and everything was great at the resort as always. I had no complaints and would definitely recommend staying here.

Spring break
Had a great vacation here, until cartel caused problems on the day of Feb 22. We were supposed to leave that day for home. Staff was great, and front dedk at long lines . We had to stay four extra days, but everyone was very orofessional. Some staff worked extra shifts as they couldn't get home. I'll be back to either of the 3 Riu's here in Nuevo Vallarta.

We were looking forward to this trip it was a bit interrupted but aside from that I miss the fountain in front. I wish you would go back to making reservations for the suppers I was not fond of the American restaurant. I didn’t think the evening entertainment was very good playing kahoot is very childish and wasn’t enjoyable. If you didn’t have a phone you couldn’t join in either. When the incident happened in PV the atmosphere changed I felt horrible for the staff and I liked it when it was a bit quieter but we did notice the pool closest to the kid pool park was not cleaned properly it had a scum at the left corner. We also found the water closets were far from the two end pools and closing the restaurants was harsh also. We thought the buffet should have been closed and the others open. I wish the rooms had doors instead of glass because sharing a room we wanted a little more privacy. This was my opinion.

Great Resort
Riu Jalisco was fantastic!! Very clean, great & friendly staff, lots of food choices, and loved the pools & beach. First time going here and will definitely go back. Even with all the commotion in Puerto Vallarta, the staff were amazing to ensure we were safe and secure.

Great management and service
We were there during the crisis and everyone was excellent at keeping guests calm and served. Sandra in Chipotle was a star!
