Loved it!,
It was an excellent resort. Highly recommended. I would definitely return there again. Food was very good and the variety was excellent.

Our stay was ok...kinda. Other than the mold on the box spring/mattress, it was fine.
The property is beachfront, beautiful beach and view of the ocean. The fountain and the trees are gorgeous as well. The pools are a little smaller, but the activities in the pool from the RIU staff were very entertaining and fun. Food was okay, nothing spectacular. Coffee was NEVER hot, barely warm lol. All the drinks tasted the same. This was our first stay in a bigger resort, I think we were a little spoiled at our past resort, servers served us in the pool and at our lounger around the pool. Not the case here, you have to line up for drinks or food. The food was decent, we did try the steakhouse, it was alright, again, nothing spectacular. Mostly we ate at the buffet for lunch and supper. Staff were always very friendly, accommodating and helpful. Room smelled of mold all week, we just figured it was due to the humidity and heat. Did not realize until the day we were leaving that the box spring/mattress were all full of mold!!! Our luggage and clothes are still gross and stinky after returning home. We have attempted to disinfect everything, but most likely will have to throw it all out in case we transfer mold to our homes.

It was awesome!
Our stay at Hotel Riu Jalisco was amazing!! Our room was very nice! The beds were comfortable. We were happy that they supplied us with water and extra drinks in the room. Whole staff starting with Guest service, Gift shop employees, house keeping and restaurant staff were all very nice and so helpful. We definitely will return to this hotel.
