Family of 4 went beginning of March. Based on the reviews on this site I actually contemplated switching resorts; however, I am happy we did not! Renovations are great, resort is beautiful and they did a great job. Room: AC in our room worked great. Yes, the bathroom set up isn’t ideal but we just made sure privacy was given to whomever was showering and the rest of us sat outside on the balcony. Food: Overall, we were satisfied with the food. The buffet had a great selection of items every day so we did not get sick of the food during our week. The steakhouse and Asian restaurants were our favorite al a cartes. We didn’t care for the Mexican one and didn’t try the American Country one. Italian was ok. Ice cream shop is great! Pools: Pools were fine. Would have been nice if they weren’t all rectangle and had some shade around the pool but our girls still enjoyed them. We had great weather and enjoyed our evening sunsets on the beach. We would definitely come back again.

Thw RIU Jalisco was just recently remodelled. It is an ALL Inclusive Resort with boasts 5 pools, which includes a fun kiddy pool in RIU land. It also has an all adult pool with the swim up bar, and then 3 other pools, located in Nuevo Vallarta.

Excellent Trip
We had a fantastic March Break at Riu Jalisco. The resort has recently been beautifully renovated. The staff is friendly and helpful. Initially the A/C in our room was not working and the problem was resolved very quickly. The resort is exceptionally clean - and staff is seen maintaining it all throughout the day. Our only issue was the noise from the nightclub, we could hear the bass starting around 11pm and going into the early hours of the morning.

March Break at the Jalisco
We had a great time here! The staff work so hard to keep everything clean. The rooms are beautiful and they are cleaned every day. We had no issues with having the bar fridge full. Clean towels and delicious food every day and so much of it. The beach is beautiful and it is true that there is not much shade since the trees have been trimmed. There fitness classes and entertainment at night are all great. We enjoyed our week there and would recommend it to anyone who's considering a visit there.

Renovations nicely done and staff are amazing
Returned to check out renovations after attending in 2025. Satisfied with all updates and renovations made ! Gives the resort a modern look. Same great staff with new food and dining options. Overall will attend again.
