Amazing Hotel
Last day of a lovely 2 week holiday. If you are in doubt about booking here, do it. This is our second time and it’s a fab hotel. Food is good, drinks are good. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. Beautiful beach and clean pool area / restaurants etc. Massive shout out to Israel and his drinks cart. What a lovely man. My only complaint is that the smoking policy isnt adhered to and not really policed. There are smoking areas in place around the resort but people still smoking on their loungers. It’s really not pleasant having to breathe in second hand smoke. Also some of the parasols need replacing. All in all have had a great family holiday 🥰

Amazing!
We had the best time at the Riu Caribe, we stayed 20th November to 4th December and loved every minute of our holiday. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Special recognition to Antonio at the breakfast buffet, Israel at the evening buffet and Hugo at Margarita as they all looked after us so well. This hotel offers the best of everything, you can enjoy quiet time or get more involved in the party atmosphere. The pool activity team were brilliant and we loved the water aerobics with Tony! We were in room 918 which overlooked the party area but this didn’t cause us any disturbances as the evening parties end at 11pm. We would love to come back here someday and we were so sad to leave.

Good stay
Myself & my mum stayed here from the UK for 10 days, and we had such a good time! We tried the Mexican & Asian restaurants, which were both delicious. Our room was a generous size, with two small double beds which was a bonus. The beach is lovely, and very relaxing. That being said, there was a couple of downsides. Firstly, the service when we were greeted at the Mexican restaurant was poor. The gentleman on the front desk showed no enthusiasm, and we had to wait 30 minutes for a table in the half empty restaurant. When we came back, the group of 6 that were behind us in the queue earlier had been seated first. There was only 2 of us, so we felt low priority in all honesty. Secondly, several guests around the hotel were playing music loudly on their own portable speakers around the different pools everyday. If you couple that with the music from the entertainment team & the swim-up bar, it does get annoying. The beach was far more relaxing!

Beautiful Hotel in a Tourist trap area
Beautiful Hotel and food was fantastic. Beach was beautiful, but just in front of Hotel. Don't expect to walk the beach for miles, its very rocky, so you will be walking over rocks or going into ocean to get around said rocks, if you do attempt the walk, it will get very littered with garbage. Out front of hotel is a VERY busy road, you can walk up the street, but it's more hotels OR very expensive 'shops'. ( Very expensive) There are mangroves on the other side of road, try to cross road and walk on that side ( nicer walk ) This is a TOURISTY area. If you want to see Mexico expect to pay mega money on excursions. There is NOTHING near hotel to do. ( Unless you want to pay lots of money) Bring lots of sunscreen, or you will be paying $60 a bottle, if you need more. Overall Hotel is Beautiful and food is great, not a whole lot to do at hotel. Cancun is over rated and a tourist trap. Pick somewhere else to go in Mexico.
