not enough elevators, I wish we were able to make reservations for al a carte restaurants, suites were falling apart. lights were flickering or not turning on. bathroom towels were not replaced. had to make 3 requests to restock on water bottles. many parties outside because loby bar closes, loud at night

Overrated. Nothing worked, excursions all cancelled on us. Not much to do. Go somewhere else.

Spring Break
Just came back from an amazing stay at Hotel Riu Cancun and I honestly had a great experience! The location is perfect — right in the heart of the hotel zone with beautiful ocean views and easy access to nearby shops and activities. The beach is absolutely stunning with clear turquoise water and soft white sand. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help, which made the stay even better. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and housekeeping kept everything fresh every day. I also really enjoyed the food — there were plenty of options at the buffet and the restaurants, so there was always something good to eat. The entertainment and pool activities kept things fun during the day, and the atmosphere at night was lively but still relaxing. Overall, it was a great mix of relaxation and fun. I would definitely recommend Hotel Riu Cancun to anyone looking for a beautiful all-inclusive vacation in Cancun. I would absolutely come back again!

Bachelorette trip
I am low maintenance and barely spent time in the room. Location superb, service was wonderful my only issue was how small the pools were, for catering to that many people bigger would be a little bit better but overall I enjoyed my stay.
