Location was great!!! Staff was very helpful and nice. Food was delicious with many many options!!! Drinks were perfect. Suite was very clean but maybe a little updating for the tub/mirrors. Pool was cold. Asked different staff every day about the jacuzzi temp being turned on but no one would help or give reason why it wasn’t working.

Awesome Property with a few flaws
Overall the resort is beautiful. The rooms were fine other than the thin walls where we could hear our neighbors. Food was 6/10. Drinks 8/10. Money exchange shorten me and the cameras had to be run back. They owed me 1000 pesos but it was resolved.

Great property with amazing deck views of beautiful Cancun water. Property is large. Great pools and beach access with chairs. Used the quieter beach pool for some serious sun relaxing. Food was always good and drinks were flowing. Food was good to great each night. Had to move from original room due to loud neighbors. Hotel accommodated not problems and transferred out bags next day. Highly recommend this property if staying in Cancun.

Fun place to visit, RIU is definitely a party atmosphere
There is a definite party vibe at this hotel, not somewhere to go to relax. Resort is beautiful, staff amazing, entertainment is decent. Pools will be overflowing all day, get your chairs early. Food gets repetitive after a couple of trips to the buffet, but you can generally find something you'll like. Noise from the doors slamming is the biggest issue, not necessarily a vacationer creation, so much as it is the design of the door...don't be surprised by the sound of an explosion in the middle of the night, as that is literally how loud the doors sound when closing. Beach is small but very nice. It's windy, but that's the norm for Cancun, so expect it some days. Overall, it's a very nice resort, just don't expect much rest if that's the goal.

First time at a RIU inclusive, wasn’t quite sure what to expect. The food was rather bland. The best place was the Japanese restaurant. The steak house was the worst, tough steak, dry chicken. Breakfast buffet was quite good and diverse. Wait staff was good, hotel was clean. Not much beach to speak of.The whirlpool was unheated! Was looking forward to some good margaritas, but my husband makes a better one. The drinks had a Sucralose taste to them which I avoid. They offered many activities around the pool but if you didn’t get there at sunrise, you weren’t getting a chair.
