It was wonderful. We were there to visit with hotel representatives and for a separate conference nearby. The Rio was wonderful, and we had a great time.

Great option
Thanks for the help at the front desk with the check in I did upgrade my rooms and the staff help me out with this process thanks and the rooms were clean and nice.

I stayed at the Rio recently and overall had an okay experience. Mayra at the front desk was fantastic, very friendly and helpful, and honestly the highlight of the stay. Unfortunately the hotel felt pretty understaffed and the wait times for check-in were long. I have World of Hyatt status but there wasn’t any designated line or priority check-in which was disappointing. There was check-in kiosks but if you have a question at check-in they’re pretty useless. The room itself was surprisingly good. It was clean, comfortable, and very spacious, definitely better than I expected for the price. Food on property was mediocre and the prices were what you would expect from Vegas but still felt expensive considering the Rio is off strip. My friends wanted to play table games but there were not many options, mostly slot machines, so we ended up spending a lot of time off property. The resort fee also felt questionable since the Wi-Fi was mediocre at best, although parking is free which I guess helps offset the fee compared to the strip. Overall it was an okay stay with some bright spots but enough drawbacks that I am not sure I would choose the Rio again.

The first 2 days no hot water. Finally got hot water. Never did get hot water that you had to turn water down. But at least was warm. Safe locked shut took over 1 and half to get someone there to change batteries so it would open When checking out took hour to get a valet to pick up luggage when leaving. Found out only 1 employee picking up luggage for 2500 rooms. That was terrible have always stayed rio will have a hard time from ever staying there again.
