Amazing Stay
This was the best hotel that we could have stayed at in Aruba. Very easy transportation to Renaissance Island. Everyone on the staff made you feel welcomed. Loved all of the food options especially LG Smiths for dinner and Aquarius for breakfast. At Aquarius, we felt like family with all of the staff. There was one waiter who was exceptional and that was Betty. She made things feel like home at the start of each day.

Excellent service
The location of the resort and the access to the other renaissance properties was a plus nits like staying at three resorts at the same time. The shopping experience with the mall on the ground floor and easy access to the tram was a plus’s as well

Day trip was amazing
We were not staying at the hotel , we booked a day trip to the flamingo island. Firstly I have to say that the private island is absolutely beautiful!! If you are thinking about booking, do it! You won’t be disappointed. But … we did have a bad experience with one of the staff members who I spoke to on the phone. I booked the tickets a week in advance and paid 250 dollars for two adults ( baby was free), I don’t know how I did it, but I got the dates mixed up and thought I had booked for Saturday 29th November, unfortunately when Saturday arrived i realised that it was actually Saturday 30th November, so we had missed our day. I called the hotel and was spoken to by a very rude man who did not want to help us at all. He kept cutting me off saying it was my mistake and that there was nothing he could and no refund , I told him many times that I didn’t want a refund we just wanted to use the tickets we had paid for, I asked to speak to a manager and he refused and put the phone down. We decided to get in a taxi and go to the desk, wow what a completely different reception we had there. They listened and sympathised and called the manager of the island straight away. Luckily she was a lovely woman who said of course we could still come. Very big thank you to Anoushka (The Purple Lady) she made sure our day was very special along with all her staff members who were just 5 star. The best service we have ever received. Food was delicious , cocktails amazing and the day was our best day of our 3 week vacation. My 3 year old son still talks about now . We will be back next year for sure. Although I hope not to encounter the first man on the phone again.

Thanks Robert!
It was our 3rd time here, and I wanted to give a praise for his hospitality to Robert at the pool bar! One small negative was allowing kids/even babies at the pool bar. They are supposed to have their own dedicated pool, but the resort is not adhering to that policy. We had a wonderful time at their flamingo beach. Boat shuttles are quick and often.

Best Resort in Aruba!
Our two-week stay at the Renaissance in November was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The true reason this resort phenomenal is the staff that works so hard day in and day out to make your vacation the best it can be. Maritza, our housekeeper, kept our room stocked with essentials and impeccably clean for the entire trip. Petra at the towel hut brightened every morning with her warm smile. She works so hard to keep the pool restrooms clean and have plenty of towels for everyone. She is a true asset to the resort. The activities team--Marcia, GiGi and Ivy-- provided so much entertainment. We loved Bingo, aqua Zumba and smores nights. Lilliana at the Sole pool bar always greeted us immediately and kept our drinks full the entire trip. The Renaissance Resort is top tier, and you will not regret your stay there! Highly, highly recommend and we are looking forward to our next trip!
