Red Rock is the Best
Beautiful rooms. A tub to die for. The best pool area & pool food. The restaurants are delicious. Parking is convenient. We keep returning each year. The view of red rock canyon is beautiful!

Not luxury
1 star. This hotel is NOT kid-friendly despite what reviews claim. The pool area felt like a full-on day club—blaring club music, packed beyond capacity, and waitresses in string bikinis with thongs. Completely inappropriate for families. We couldn’t even find a chair, and they allow non-guests to use the pool, which makes it even more overcrowded. The room experience was just as bad—our sink wouldn’t drain, towels were limited, and the entire hotel smells like smoke from the casino. Food service took hours and the quality was poor. For how expensive this place is, it’s honestly unacceptable. We will not be returning.

Not for kids - too much second-hand smoke for me to feel comfortable with them walking around the resort.
Stayed here for 2 nights on our way back from Zion. Figured a little downtime at this resort after camping would be a little treat. We ended up barely leaving the room. I booked this thru a JetBlue Vacation package because it was flagged as “Kiddo approved”. I feel terrible dragging my kid through the smoke-filled casino floor to get to the more kid friendly section that has the food court, arcade, movies and bowling. We opted to eat elsewhere because of the smell of smoke everywhere. I don’t want to inhale smoke while we are eating. There is no fridge or coffee maker in the room - while not a deal breaker for adult travel, kind of stinks with kids. I’m not going to leave my sleeping kid or wake them up to go downstairs and grab Starbucks. Overall, I’d say this is fine for adult travel. But with kids 12 and under or anyone with asthma - I wouldn’t book here again.

Go some place else
The Casino smell was a mixture of old pot, new pot, with a hint of crap added in - it was disgusting. You get used to it after a while. But we went off property for dinner and lunch and had to come back to that every time. The drinks at the lobby bar and the service were absolutely horrible. I ordered a bourbon up, and it was the color of water with a few drops of bourbon. My wife complained about her drink being watered down before I got a chance. $38 for colored water. The breakfast at the Lucky Penny??? was actually very good and the only place in the hotel where you got great service. The bed was worn out and bowed from use.

It was fine but not for the money
On the plus side, the bed was comfy and the shower good. The casino is clean. We ate at the sushi place, the noodle place, the steak place, and the coffee shop, and all were good. All staff were kind and attentive. However, for the money, we could have stayed on the strip with far more amenities. At RR there is no coffee in the room, no mini fridge, and the bogus resort fee that provides nothing. The entire pool area was closed for "the season". Hey, if you can't afford to heat the pools, you could at least keep the pool area open so we can lounge in the sun with a beverage, and also keep the hot tubs heated. That was a bummer. I wouldn't stay here again unless the price was a LOT lower, because the value/ROI just isn't there.
