    Exceptional – Location, Staff and Accomodations

    It's difficult to write this review as I'm torn and selfishly want to keep this resort a "best kept secret". But, here we go... The Resort – Clean, beautifully landscaped, multiple dining options on site and around the corner, attentive staff and plenty of space in the 2 bedroom guest accommodations. You're a short walk or free shuttle ride to the beach and water activities and right around the corner from the main drag in Palm Beach. The resort is not beachfront but does have a reserved area for Blu guests on Moomba Beach, right down the access road. The Staff – A Notch Above the Rest - SANTOS, RAMON, JARLIN & HOUSEKEEPING – EXCEPTIONAL! SANTOS - from the minute our family of 25 piled out of 2 airport transfer vehicles to start our vacation at Radisson Blu Aruba, SANTOS was a stand out. Throughout our stay, every one of us that wandered to the front desk, sought a shuttle to the beach, needed a taxi or went for a walk to explore the town, were greeted by SANTOS. He saw us on the way out, then on our return, kept track of where we had been or where we were going, gave us tips and made us feel exceptionally special and valued. Our shuttle rides to and from the beach, were full of pure fun! On one particular instance, on our way back from a tour, our 23 year old niece said, "I'm looking forward to getting back to the resort to see SANTOS". He was that genuine and just a bright light! RAMON - On our first trip to the beach, RAMON was kind enough to explain how the chair and umbrella situation worked. These guys doing the beach set up everyday work hard and we were disappointed to experience a less than appreciative guest or two. But through it all, RAMON was professional, enthusiastic, accommodating and attentive. He fetched the chairs and dug in the umbrellas almost every morning of our vacation so that everyone that could fit had comfortable chairs and shade. JARLIN - Jarlin shuttled our group back and forth to the beach on a number of occasions. He also set up and broke down chairs and umbrellas at each day's start and end. He always smiled and was welcoming as he saw us coming. Often times he'd see us before we saw him and that feeling of not just being another guest made a lasting impression. HOUSEKEEPING - On arrival, the eight, 2 bedroom rooms we occupied, on multiple floors, were exceptionally clean and well stocked. HOUSEKEEPING did an exceptional job of spiffying up each and every day, ensuring we came home to a nice, clean room with everything we needed. The rooms are not small and we can't imagine this was an easy task. Well, well done! FRONT DESK - I’ll be candid. Upon arrival, we had a great experience with the front desk team. Our group of 25 essentially filled the lobby during check-in, and the staff handled it wonderfully. As shifts changed over the course of our stay, however, we did encounter a few team members whose customer service skills were not as strong. On one occasion, our 24-year-old niece went to the front desk to request extra towels since both phones in our room were not working and we couldn’t reach Housekeeping or the Front Desk. She was told that the Front Desk was not Housekeeping, which was disappointing. That said, the excellent service we received from the arrival staff – SANTOS, RAMON, JARLIN and HOUSEKEEPING overall helped offset those less positive interactions.

    Never tired of Aruba

    This was our third time to Aruba, and spent 7 nights (Dec 8-15) at this resort. The rooms were fantastic. The staff was especially gracious and welcoming. Special mention to Peter, who helped us on our first day with our bags, and other days on the beach. He was always friendly with a big smile on his face. Santos was also very helpful on the beach with the loungers and umbrellas. The room was amazing with 2 bedrooms , a large living/dining room and a small kitchen. It would have been nice to have an stove and a toaster for more options for breakfast. Location was very convenient, but not on the beach. They had a shuttle, but the walk was only 5 minutes. I would 100% come back to this resort in the future.

    Overall, outstanding experience

    RadissonBluAruba hotel front desk, pool services, and outdoor grounds resources were outstanding. I would say that the housekeeping staff could do a bit better job related to consistency in cleaning, replenishing items, and just general cleanliness. Peter and Santos did a great job welcoming guests and helping them as needed. Lastly, Orfa at the pool was wonderful. She is friendly, does a fantastic job with the surrounding pool cleanliness, and is very welcoming as well. Overall, I rate the external services (front desk, pool services, grounds keepers, grounds and front desk cleaning staff) much higher than the housekeeping team. This hotel also needs a laundry facility for guests. Services can be sent out, but if you are staying for an extended period of time, then the services will be very expensive. Other hotels in the area all have laundry, the Radisson should also have the services. This was our second stay at this property, and we would definitely come back.

    Amazing staff and rooms

    The hotel was beautiful, rooms were big and comfortable. The staff was helpful! Peter and Santos were always at the front waiting and happy to help.
