Lovely Relaxing Stay
Lovely resort, I'd be happy to stay here again and would be happy to recommend. I was here for a week over Easter, just the right vibe...busy enough to have kife, quiet enough to be bereft of queues and clutter. Lovely pool, nice beach area. Always plenty of loungers despite the usual obsessives putting down their towels at the crack of dawn. The room was spotless, a big comfy bed, a nice balcony, a minibar, a safe, and nice a rain shower. The one thing that stands out was how quiet it is by night. Restaurant food was top notch. I couldnt ve bothered with the 7 restaurants on offer ao no review here im afraid, the buffet was good enough for me. The 24 hour snack bar by the beach was a nice place to hang out by night. Very quiet. Beer was rubbish. The Presidente beer in the minibar was nice, the watered down muck in the bars drove me to the wine! Which was fine! Very friendly staff I must say. The beach was divine, no seaweed or smells as other reviews say. A great hotel, quiet, safe, secure snd only about 30ish mins from Punta Cana Airport. As I said in line one, id be e happy to recommend.

Honest Review
Not taking into consideration the chaos we have experienced at Punta Cana airport and taking us about 3 hours to get to the resort from when we landed we have mixed feelings about this resort. The check in was pretty efficient and since we came right after the check in time we got our room right away. As soon as we walked in I went to use the toilet and it was broken. I called customer service to advise them of the issue and they sent someone right away however the issue never got resolved and my husband had to play a plumber every single day which was very disappointing . The food is good, and the use of the sister resort is amazing which we enjoyed way more. The rooms could be cleaner. The hotel grounds are immaculate. The hotel needs to actually resolve issues instead of pretending to. We will not be returning to this resort.

Perfect weather and a fun time!
Ana Patricia was our go to fantastic staff member for everything. She went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The hotel mgr Alexander was also a great help. From the food server Chisel to the pool guy Carlos our days there went smoothly.

Spring Break in The DR
The location Faranda One was perfect. It was quiet, the staff were professional and it was easy getting around. Pablo knew all of the great places to eat, party and build sand castles. I hope to come every year. I felt like I had my own apartment equipped with a cleaning staff that kept everything clean and well equipped with water, towels and coffee. The upstairs restaurant served everything from breakfast to a late snack to enjoy by the pool. My favorite was the Hummus plate and the hearty bread. My morning routine started with the gym or breakfast then a relaxing swim. The vibe at the pool was always lit with House Music or the Deejay playing all the popular genres of music.

Lose the Timeshare Pitches
Pros - people complain about the food, but I’m not sure why because it’s actually very good for a resort. I was very impressed at the variety that they were able to offer guests in the different restaurants. - Elvis is the best! He’s so incredibly friendly, one of the nicest people that works here. The staff are very sweet including Felix at the pool - many go out of their way to make you feel at home - The resort grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, the gardeners are excellent craftsman and you can see them working really hard on making sure that everything looks beautiful - The people that work here are all so nice and warm except for the man at the beach bar. Not sure what crawled up his butt but even with my widest smile I couldn’t get to him. He clearly hates his job and probably needs to move along. I even got a sneer when I went to refill my water, WTF lol. - My room was nice, vaulted ceilings, warm and quiet. If you enjoy peace it is very quiet close to the lobby. Rooms are dated but mine was always clean. Minibar was not restocked 3/7 days though Cons - As soon as I got in they were trying to sell me a timeshare. Seriously? At a resort? For anyone, do not go to the ‘presentation’ in exchange for freebies (I was not naieve enough to get suckered in and lose a morning of vacation) hey if you wanna sit in the boardroom for the first day go for it. Financial Profitability: Timeshare sales provide upfront, substantial cash flow for resorts, often using high-pressure tactics to lock guests into contracts for thousands of dollars. Customer Loyalty and Predictability: The goal is to bind you to their brand for years, ensuring you return to their property and pay yearly maintenance fees, regardless of whether you stay there. - they let the buskers come right up through the beach rows to harass you to buy things, I lost count of how many times they tried when i just wanted to read and relax. Same thing happened at the pool. Every time I wanted to relax they were trying to see me tours, massage, timeshare. I don’t pay thousands of dollars for this experience - ridiculous! - If you can GET a pool chair you are lucky. Very few umbrellas. If you want an umbrella, you have to get up at 6 AM and come down to the pool. - I was asked “where is my husband” three times. I asked the one guy why he was asking me that and he said because it’s a couples resort. This is someone who works here. Because of this, I do not recommend this place for solo travelers. Especially women. They don’t respect women who come here by themselves. - The Spa services are waaaaay overpriced for a resort. And they ask if you want a massage 5x a day. Maybe management should take a hint that no one is biting and post more reasonable prices. 180 USD for a resort massage!?! Come on, you can’t be serious.
