If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing resort, this is it! As returning guests we appreciated the welcome back banner on our room door. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Alexander, Guest Services Manager, is awesome. He is always there and willing to help in any way needed. Nelson, at the pool bar, is the best. Having stayed at a lot of larger resorts, we really appreciated the smaller size for ease of getting around. No long walks to get from beach to lobby and restaurants from any building. We would highly recommend this resort.

Aug 23, 2023Resort for an Older crowd
Just came from a long weekend and the service and food was great! I did not expect to pay for room service, but it's not included. We also had a trouble with the AC in our room, they did call a technician but not sure what the issue was. Pillows were small and not too pleasant. We also had an issue at the gift shop, my bf was looking at keychains, and two of them were tangled, when he untangled them, one of them broke and we were forced to purchase it. Definitely would recommend for older couples.

2nd time this year to Punta Cana Princess
I love this resort! It’s small enough to walk everywhere very easily. Alexander is amazing, anything you need he’s there to help! Nelson at the pool bar is fabulous! Everyone is so happy to see you and help you with anything! I was a little disappointed that the 24 hour snack bar wasn’t available all the time. This was my second time there this year, so I obviously love it here!

Very disappointed
Advertised as five-star we felt the resort fell some way short of that. However, in the interest of of fairness, let's run through the positives first. The food was excellent, varied, fresh and well-presented with four alternative restaurants away from the main buffet area. The pool is first class, spacious, excellent swim-up bar and managed by enthusiastic and helpful staff. Our accommodation was comfortable but somewhat tired by modern standards. Sadly, that's where the good stuff ends. Having paid the all-inclusive tariff, we were disappointed to find the local wines and spirits virtually undrinkable, although the local draught beer was fine. In an attempt to correct the former we looked at the VIP upgrade package only to discover that it did not include branded, imported wines! So we were forced to spend an extra $20 per bottle to get decent wine which was served with varying degrees of efficiency. The beach area was fine but the sand full of flies, which kept the on-site pharmacy very busy. We took care but some guests were very badly bitten. The excursions on offer were extremely expensive, starting at circa $100 per head for the most basic of boat trips. Again, we did not feel anything like good value for money - a common theme. Friendliness and competence of staff varied enormously from downright disinterest to excellent. Tipping is important although you shouldn't have to rely on that to get the basic level. On returning home we discovered that a credit card had been stolen from our room early in our stay. On contacting the hotel they offered no form of recompense, the scantest apology and an assurance that "our security systems are constantly under review". Not good enough I'm afraid. Overall the Punta Cana Princess falls short on too many key areas for us to be able to recommend it on any level.

Aug 05, 2023This place is disgusting, we have the same food everyday.
The hotel was over all okay, the pools, the beach.. but there was many issues that i had a problem with, i had a total of 6 rooms for family, one had NO air conditioning at all, it was very frustrating to be in a condition like that, and my room had dirty sheets, and every time i went to the bathroom it smell very bad, when i brushed my teeth the sink water smelled horrible, the pool with the slides, were disgusting, kids peeing everywhere, the water not clean, and the fact that it closes to early, for what? the same food everyday, and the food was horrible. I will NEVER, come back, A horrible experience, and do not give me that wack “sorry” paragraph that you send EVERYONE.
