    Best vacation spot

Parliett was the best server ever. The service at the main pool was amazing and always prompt when ordered. The food was delicious and fresh. The menu has so many selections to choose from. We always love coming to the main pool. Next time you come ask for Parliett and get a Paloma, the drinks are the best!!!

A Picturesque Retreat: Precisely What We Sought

As first-time vistors to Cabo San Lucas/SUNSET Beach Golf & Spa Resort Pueblo Bonito, we were thrilled to find ourselves at a resort that was nothing short of uniquely thoughtful. The meticulously maintained landscape, sprawling across the vast property, left a positive impression. The promise of unobstructed ocean views was fulfilled. There seems to be a certain magic in falling asleep to the rhythmic lullaby of the waves—a natural luxury that was ours to enjoy every night. From the expansive patio of Section 19, the panoramic vista of water meeting sky offered a perfect backdrop for both daydreaming and star gazing. While the large Executive Ocean View Suite rooms may carry a "vintage" charm, they hold a character all their own. The dual restrooms were a practical touch for our Mother and Daughter visit, ensuring convenience and privacy. Admittedly, the beds were on the firmer side, but the staff’s prompt response to our request for mattress pads was commendable. Pillow connoisseurs might find the offerings a tad basic, so tempering expectations could be wise. Premium bath amenities & plush robes were not offered during our 7-day stay. Bring your own shampoo and toiletries if fussy. However, the air conditioning’s efficiency and the surprisingly strong water pressure were modern comforts that did not disappoint. Room cleanliness, though, was somewhat inconsistent across the three rooms we previewed, with varying attention to detail in dusting (woodwork and shutters forgotten) and wall/floor mark removal. Yet, the linens remained fresh and inviting. For those facing accessibility challenges, the resort’s layout may seem daunting at first glance at the higher levels. The carts, while fun for some, could pose a difficulty for others. You may feel more comfortable riding upfront in the passigner seat. As enthusiasts of leisurely strolls, we often chose to explore the grounds on foot, embracing the resort’s natural beauty at our own pace The private beach, a tranquil retreat, reminded us of nature’s power with its non-swimmable waters. But fear not, for the well-maintained pools provided a delightful alternative for a refreshing dip, each with its own atmosphere, from serene to lively at the popular Sky Pool. Dining was a pleasure, with a diverse selection of quality options and Buffet theme nights. The Market at Quivira, an innovative "Food Hall" and the Golf Clubhouse Restaurant, along with the sister hotels off-site offerings, kept our culinary journey interesting throughout the week. A special note to try the fresh tacos from La Choya’s Taco “Van”-- TASTY! Double check their operating hours before visting. The complimentary shuttle service to said sister properties Pueblo Bonito Rosé and Blanco was convenient. The large charter bus will virtually take you to the heart of lively El Médano beach —remember to book your spot early! Note: Tickets are available at the Grounds Transportation Desk outside the Market. Need a cart to pick you up at a special time or after enjoying one too many Palomas by the pool perhaps? Just use the courtesy phone to make a request. Many will enjoy the friendly eveninng vibe / karaoke nights at The AFTER. The morning stretching classes offered a relaxed start to the day thanks to Christian. Note: The activity location may change daily. Ops cleanliness was a consistent theme in public areas, with restrooms and common spaces always seemingly spotless. My only suggestion would be for hand sanitizers to be more visible at the main buffet, La Nao. If they were there, I didn’t see them, though they were available at other dining spots. In conclusion, our visit was pleasing, marked by unexpected delights like evening fireworks (private wedding's on the beach) that added a touch of wonder to our stay. This resort, with its mix of charm, beauty, and smiley customer service, promises a memorable getaway for all visitors.

Wedding with Biani, Market with Eduardo’s

We had our wedding with 60+ people. Everyone in our group loved the property, the service, and pretty much everything. In particular, Eduardo from the Market was awesome!! If you see him, grab him early!! He was quick, friendly, and great server. Our wedding planner, Biani, was a sweetheart and ensured our wedding night was a success!!! I highly recommend staying or even having your wedding there.

    Great service

Angel provided great services at the main pool! He was really attentive and very nice!! He brought us food and drinks when we asked. The pool was a great place for the family to relax and also have fun. We sit in the same spot every day and had Angel multiple days in a row.

    Issue after issue

Our stay consisted of issues after issue. They started off by doing us a “favor” and upgrading our room to the penthouse so we could all be together. There was no hot water, 2 broken toilets, smelt like it’s been closed up for a year+. The pools were packed, we finally saw open chairs and go to grab them and they were picking them up because it was for “elite” members only and there were no elite members using them. So they rather their guest have no where to sit than to use a chair that was empty. Next, we show up at the restaurant that is connected to the main pool at NOON. One waiter says they are closed we need to leave - the other says they are open. We get a menu and try to order a drink - “that’s an upcharge” An upcharge at an all inclusive resort for a alcoholic beverage on the menu that has no markings to indicate it cost and the others do not. The next day, 1 friend returns from the pool and the man is in our room to move us to a new location since our water didn’t work. We did not receive any phone call or notification - just let himself in. They cancelled our bracelets and we were no longer able to enter the room. They wanted each of us to go BACK to the lobby to reactivate the bracelets - after much fight, I told them we were not going out of our way on our vacation for their errors. You cannot walk anywhere really on the resort, it’s on a mountain with no walking paths - just golf cart paths for the workers to bring you too and from. I guess walking could be an option, but you are dodging golf carts the whole time that are trying to squeeze in and out around extreme curves and inclines. So that was another thing, waiting 20+ minutes for a cart everytime you want to go somewhere. We had 9 people in our room due to the upgrade - they only left 3 people on the reservation. We constantly had to FIGHT to get food because 9 entrees were too many for 3 people. Again, this is all inclusive resort - we paid to get any and everything whenever wanted!! Again, show up to the restaurant for dinner - gives us a drink menu. We try to order and he says that’s an upcharge. We ask what is and what is not - he said “the whole menu cost extra” we were never offered different package deals when booking the room. I have never dealt with an all inclusive resort where nearly everything cost something. The drinks were nasty majority of the time. One day we ordered pizza by the pool - before ordering he said it takes a long time, about an hour. we gave that an ok and ordered anyway. It took 3 hours for us to get 2 pizzas. I never felt so upset and uncomfortable for a vacation as expensive as this was. I truly hope this review helps! I’m in shock by the other reviews by people having an amazing time because we had literally quite the opposite. Definitely think twice before staying at any publeo bonito resorts if they all operate the same.
