"Pretty good", they could have SO easily made it better, but hey opted not to.
I can say that we had a really "good" time during our week long Christmas vacation. I can also say that the "bad" parts of our experience created a pretty big shadow of disappointment, and they were all avoidable. I general, the overall experience was positive. The value was "reasonably good" for the all-inclusive aspects. We paid top-dollar for a Super Executive Suite. When we arrived we were disappointed with the cleanliness and presentation of our building and our room. There were many dead bugs(the size of birds) throughout the corridors, puddles in the hallways from some source of a leak, and dishes left in the hallway from room service(which would remain there for days!) When we checked in we were told that our room was ready to go...though when the Bellhop guided us and our bags to the room, it was not ready and the cleaning staff was still there. He smiled and suggested that we wait on the suite's balcony while they finish the cleaning, which took about 20-25 minutes. It took days for room service personnel to remove plates and dishes from our hallway, despite the fact that they delivered food to our room and others, multiple times, daily. Next...We were directly lied to by poolside wait staff on multiple occasions so they could keep their tips , versus letting us detach from their service. For example, Angel was our server at the main pool one afternoon, he told us we could continue ordering from him versus having to relocate to a nearby bar to acquire a certain menu item. We were thrilled that we could keep our seats at the poolside. We were also thrilled that we could finally fulfill our son's four-day-long quest for this menu item. Angel brought us our food order and simultaneously mentioned that the affiliate restaurant no longer served our son's desired dish. An hour later, as we left the pool seats, I walked into the aforementioned restaurant and asked if they still served the dish we had ordered, and they said, "absolutely!". Moving on...during our 7-day stay, our building was without running hot water for three and a half days! We could not take showers for half of our entire stay!!! This was an awful component of our stay. We heard of other families being relocated to other buildings that had working showers, which we were never offered. Eventually, they did let us shower in the spa for two days, which was more of an inconvenience than a benefit. At the end of our stay they offered $150 credit!!! This was hardly an equitable solution for more than three days of no showers, we were not happy(along with so many people at the check-out kiosk). Moving on...we didn't realize until the check out process that we had been up-charged for a number of items throughout the week. Being that we were "all-inclusive" it was fairly inconsequential. However, we chose to tip with fixed amounts all week, such as $5, 10$ or $20 per service. Had we chosen percentage-based tips, we would have been paying a percentage of "double" Bloody Mary's and "Silver Tequila" Margaritas, none of which we ordered in those fashions or quantities. The worst offender of the week's stay was Samuel, in the spa location, Just an awful energy, a liar, completely useless in helping us, and always failing his duty, rather than a providing a solution. Our worst experiences of the whole week surrounded interactions with Samuel. I could write a diatribe to explain more details...he was such a sh!+ bag, it is hard to muster the energy to even explain Samuel's disenchanting attitude(the site will not allow descriptive words that I would prefer to use, which I know because I tried). Moving on...watch out for nickel and dime charges at check out that they don't make obvious at all; such as a local community donation fee per day of your stay, or the daily sanitation fees. These will appear on your app-based check out as items that can be "rejected", but it is a challenging process, and when we checked out, these fees were described as "mandatory" despite me showing approvals of all rejections on the app platform. Moving on...the food was very good in most cases, and the value of the all-inclusive paid off for us and our teenage twin boys. The unavailability of clean towels, both in the room and around the pools, was a daily debacle. We waited for hours by the pool on several occasions for clean towels to place on the lawn chairs. Ultimately, we had a good time during the week, the food was mostly fantastic. That said, none of the above-described events should have happened, all were preventable. Unfortunately, our stay will be measured more by the annoying failures than by the successes. I am not sure we would return here without considering other options first. To their credit, most of the staff was extremely friendly and very hard working. I don't want that to go unmentioned. The few bad apples always seem to stand out more.

NICE TIME
My first time going all inclusive. I have been to other resorts and was not impressed with their food a la carte. At Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach there were many restaurants to choose from including their other resorts at PB Rose and PB Los Cabos. Literally more than a dozen choices of restaurants and bars to choose from. The cost per day was reasonable compared to other resorts. I will definately go there again
