Overall good experience
Was a guest with my girlfriend May 17-23. Room was clean, bed was comfortable but squeaked too much . Not sure if this property has ocean front rooms not available when we booked room. Pool area and property was clean especially liked the service to the pool and beach (on certain days) waitresses and bartenders very friendly. Loved the pool bar but didn't like that it closed up at 10:00 p.m. Didn't like Saturday DJ and music choice since it seemed to attract young adults under 25 that cluttered up the area around pool. Why not cater to the guests at the resort instead of attracting non guests to the property. Property right on beach which was awesome. Overall a very appealing resort. Not a fan of resort fees. Build these costs into the room price and make it easier to budget.

Not what it used to be
This place has definitely gone down hill. Check in took a long time. The front desk and housekeeping staff were very nice but clearly overwhelmed. The properly itself is great. They have outdoor games and a fire pit. The pool is decent and the beach access is great. Although we were guests of the property we weren’t allowed to set up our chairs and umbrella and were forced to go to the public beach area by the staff. They didn’t have any of the guests ones available. The rooms…well horrible. The pictures on the website are not an accurate representation. Our bath curtain was full of mold, the bathroom is extremely small ( One person at a time for sure)the room is outdated with furniture that looks like it came from a donation bin, damaged and falling apart. Minimal lighting and the wall paper was peeling off the wall. The tub was stained and didn’t drain so the dirt and sand would be trapped at your feet. The A/C barely worked and when it did the smell of weed fro mother other rooms drowned you. They allow hundreds or party goers to enter the tiki bar area and it’s extremely difficult to walk from your room to the beach. The party goers leave the place trashed every night and you wake up to beer cans and all sorts of trash in the bushes and pathways. They linger around the lobby for hours even after the DJ leaves causing chaos. On our second night the noise didn’t stop until 4am. We have stayed at many beach hotels and have been coming down to St Pete beach for over 20 years and have never seen a places like this. We contacted the front desk upon arrival and were told this is their typical room and they hoped we were happy with it……Save your money and book somewhere else.

Zero stars! Ruined my birthday
Ruined my birthday! This hotel stay was a pre paid gift from my mother. They informed me at check in all I would need to pay is a $45 resort fee and that’s it. The check out is at 11 am, but my family wanted to be able to have pool and beach access for a while longer so my mom went to the front desk and spoke to a man named Steven, he said we can absolutely do a late checkout but it’ll be a $100 fee for a 330pm check out. My mom said yes and said she will pay the late check out fee and tried to pay at that time but Steven insisted on having her pay at the new checkout time 3:30 and said they can swap out my card with her card for this fee. When we went to check out at 2:55pm, there was one girl working the desk and she was on the phone. We waited. It’s now 3:15. She finally acknowledges us and says she has no idea what’s going on. Steven never informed her or anyone of the situation . They were all left in the dark. She made several calls, walked away and was quite rude/impatient with us. Finally she told me to pay with my card (which it was my birthday, my mom was supposed to pay for this) and call the office manager to correct at a later time. She gave us geo different bills with different charges. If she charged correctly, I would’ve been paying the $45 resort fee and the $100 late check out fee. I check my credit card charges and they charged $75 on one charge then a separate charge of $165. I’ve been calling Diego carro ( the office manager I was told to call to fix)and no avail. I was also told at check in there was free continental breakfast at the bar downstairs. Which was not the case. The hotel room had peeling wallpaper and looked very dirty. Loud music all night! Our room was the “garden room” and overlooked the space where there were games such as corn hole and such. I was awaken several times to drunk people playing corn hole till 2:30am! The sound of the bean bags hitting the wood echoed off the buildings in the area and sounded like someone throwing things at my door! Loud music till 1am! I could hear full conversations from other rooms all night. Worst sleep I’ve ever had EVER.

Good times.
We had a good time. Pool was nice and loved the DJ. Good service all around but David the pool attendant went out of his way to get us lounge chairs 2 days in a row. We are very grateful for that. He is definitely an asset to the Post Card Inn. Thanks David!

Love PCI!
My group ranged from 30-50 yr olds. The place is just lively! There’s something to do whether u want to relax or get wild. Live music next door if you wanna dance, a dive bar across the street for way less expensive drinks. 7 eleven is also across the street for all ur water cravings. Beach front access with lawn chairs available and you can upgrade to a cabana for a fee. I love it here!
