Only 1 night because of cancelled flight
Our flight back home was cancelled and we had to find a hotel for the night. Front desk girl was super friendly over the phone and told me she had a few rooms available so we brought other stranded passengers with us. We had a room by the beach and it was very beautiful. The mattress and the pillows were not the best but the hammock outside made up for it. We did not get to experience much as we were only there for 1 night but it appeared well maintained.
Check in nightmare
This was a family vacation to celebrate our son’s 21st birthday. My daughter and husband arrived prior to us and checked in. They had made reservations using a popular online site. We made our reservations directly with the hotel and had a confirmation email. When we arrived we were told (even though we had the confirmation email) that our reservation did not exist. Very bad way to what was supposed to be a special celebration! The front desk staff acted clueless. The reservation agent we had corresponded with was not on the premises. Thank goodness We quickly found a nice hotel close by that could accommodate us. My daughter and husband were told they would be refunded. As of now they have yet to be refunded. We stayed at Posada Real 3 times in 2022. This is not the way loyal guests should be treated. We would like the hotel to reach out to us to find a solution.
Great beach and staff - rooms need updating
First time all inclusive and the Posada Real did not disappoint! Here’s everything I’d rate FIVE stars… front desk, beach, food, view, privacy, space on beach (not crowded), beach servers, entertainment, and common areas. Here’s what I’d improve: new beds, update rooms, and have mid-level liquors at the outside bar (even if there’s an up charge). The garden outside was spectacular! The master gardener was always on-site trimming, etc. and it was like artwork. My goal was to sit on this beach and soak up the sun. This was perfect. The staff was always helpful and responsive - they probably made my experience 4 star-worthy!
Good Value and Local Flavor
We loved the low key local budget friendly hotel location and entertainment. Staff is somewhat helpful although some things are missing like Ping Pong or Tennis Raquets and no one could find the golf club putters. Pool staff took awhile. Best part was the evening entertainment -Mirimba with Beto. Urbano is very helpful at the front desk.
This was our first time in Cabo, and we loved it. But the hotel is just ok. Needs to be updated, lots of wear and tear. The food was ok for breakfast and lunch. Dinners were bad. The people who worked there were great but hotel is too tired.
