    No Shower for $600

Due to flight cancellation I stayed here for one night, 3/12/26. Room on the first floor was very musty. What was worse was that the shower head didn't work.... a few trickles only and no hot water. I washed my hair in the sink (it did have hot water). When I told the front desk about the problem the response was, "yes, I've heard that complaint. The shower head needs replacing." I would be sure your shower works before you pay!! The bartender was lovely and it was in a good location. Not on the beach.

    Quebec spring break

Great location , nice breakfast, good pool, hot tube was little bit dirty, I stayed in two rooms, first one with two beds and bigger but little bit outdated and the second one when my flight was cancel I stayed in a newer room with one king size bed. Both rooms were functional and clean. Easy walk to the beach and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again !

7 Days At Ports Of Call

This is our 2nd time staying at the Ports Of Call. We enjoyed the property so much in 2024 we decided to stay there again. The hotel is in a great location, close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and a grocery. When we arrived the woman at the front desk was completely unwelcoming and made us feel as though we were doing her a favor by staying at the property. The room was clean but 'tired'. No water pressure or hot water in the sink. A shower that had very little water pressure but at least hot water. A TV that apparently worked only with a smart device (phone or tablet). And a couch that had a musty smell. The included breakfast was basic: coffee, orange & apple juice (that was unappetizingly warm), eggs, scrambled powdered one day, hard boiled the next and bacon or sausage. A nice choice of bread, frozen stale waffles, cereal, along with a fruit of the day. Quite the downgrade of breakfast options since our original stay. The pool and pool area was clean and inviting. Many couples and families with children enjoying the sun and pool. The bar, located near the pool, was as basic as it gets: an occasional bartender that served beer, wine, and basic liquor and was capable of making a few varied mixed drinks. Housekeeping did a good job of making the bed and refreshing the towels every day along with Swiffering the floor. Throughout our 7 day stay the two women at the front desk never smiled, never said 'hello', 'good morning', or asked if we were enjoying our stay. They were constantly on their phones and when approached for directions, information or dining suggestions they acted annoyed and would mumble something unintelligible. Occasionally we'd ask one of them to call a ride for us. Sometimes we'd wait up to 30 minutes after asking. We came to learn they got kickbacks from their favorite van drivers and would often play games with guests when calling for a ride. After one 45 minute wait we began calling drivers on our own. On one occasion one of the front desk women started arguing with us attempting to tell us we had to use 'their drivers'. I just ignored her. The hotel is a good value considering the rates in nearby properties. Towards the end of our stay we were told the property was under new ownership since our stay two years ago. This explained a lot about the property. Apparently profit is the main concern to the new management not guests experience. It goes without saying we'll be exploring other resort options for our next vacation in T & C.

    Good location/below average service

The location was great and within walking distance to many shops, restaurants and the beach. Upon arrival at the hotel, the woman at the front desk almost seemed annoyed to check us in. She was not welcoming at all, which set a negative tone right from the beginning. She walked us to our room and once inside, she handed us our key without going over anything about the property, not mentioning anything like the dining options, shuttle to the beach, or anything else that may have been helpful. We rented one of the villas, and asked her about the private plunge pool which she then reluctantly showed us. The pool was dirty, and there was construction going on directly behind the property. While this wasn't on the resort property, it would have been nice if we were aware of that before arriving. She told us someone would come back to clean the pool, but that didn't happen until two days later. At the end of the trip we wanted to do our laundry, which should have been convenient as the villa had a washer and dryer. We walked to the store to buy laundry detergent only to get back and find out that the washer had three inches of dirty standing water in it and was unusable. We asked the front desk and they said it needed to be fixed, which would have been nice to know at the beginning. We brought up these issues to the front desk many times throughout the week, only to be told we need to wait for the manager to get in, which we never saw. Overall we enjoyed the location and the space of the villa, but the service was below average.

    Quaint Little Resort

It was our first time visiting Turks and Caicos and Ports of Call Resort was absolutely perfect! Yes this is a budget friendly hotel but for an island as expensive as Turks, it exceeded our expectations. Even though it looks like a motel, it is cute and convenient. The rooms are clean, the resort is near everything you could need including restaurants, stores, and a supermarket. Grace Bay Beach is a 10 minute walk away - at a leisurely stroll. We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet which was included in the price. This is an absolutely beautiful island and staying at this resort added to its charm. We will definitely return!
