Excellent place to stay. They far exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed was thought of. Excellent restaurants with a great meal plan. The food was amazing and so fresh. Our room was extremely clean and roomy and comfortable, and had a beautiful view. The beach was gorgeous and so well kept up. Had very comfortable beach chairs and set up umbrellas wherever you wanted. All the staff were amazing, and so helpful and caring. Everyone was treated like royalty. We plan to go back again.

The Pompano Beach Club: excellent service and the perfect location
My wife and I just visited Bermuda for the first time and stayed a week at the Pompano Beach Club. We loved every minute of it. First off, Bermuda itself is an absolutely beautiful island with the most welcoming people. We have traveled throughout the Caribbean, but the beaches of Bermuda are some of the prettiest we have ever seen. Certainly, the water does not get any bluer anywhere. As for the Pompano Beach Club, the location is amazing with dazzling views, pristine beaches right on site, and a staff that is excellent. Everyone there is friendly, helpful, and provides the absolute best service! We couldn't have been any happier. The dining on site is delicious and the views don't get any better. Definitely bring your camera to dinner to capture some amazing sunsets. There is also plenty of options for relaxing on-site, a heated pool, multiple hot tubs, beaches, gyms, and bars. Anytime you want to venture off the property to explore all the Bermuda has to offer, the staff will help you arrange that too! We are definitely making a return visit.

Totally impressed with the Pompano!
We absolutely loved this resort! From the first day to the last our experience was flawless. The food was varied and delicious. The room was so nice with a huge bathroom with double sinks, a soaking tub, and a magnifying mirror. I won’t fail to mention the view from our balcony. Service was incredible! Greg was outstanding. He was able to anticipate our every need. Mr. C.C. was so friendly and helpful. Always ready with a warm smile and greeting, he is definitely an asset to the Pompano. The Ocean Grill had great choices and the view was incredible. The Cedar Room breakfast both buffet and menu was more than satisfactory. And if you are staying on a Monday don’t miss the Rum Swizzles and hors d'oeuvres! The dessert at the buffet was mouth watering with about 15 different things to try. We were on the meal plan, and thought we could go without lunch, but most days we ordered. The prices were reasonable and the seafood wrap was really good. The pool was heated which made my husband so happy, but the beach was my favorite. I snorkeled right at the jetty just off the shore and saw quite a few variety of fish. Also saw a manta ray right at the shoreline! The ocean water at the Pompano is the best on the island. It was a true turquoise color! We thought the property was lovely and enjoyed the lounge area with its many seating areas available. It was the perfect place to sip a drink and watch the sunset. There were plenty of pool beach/ lounge chairs and you never had to get up to reserve the ones you wanted. We would highly recommend this resort and if we ever go back to Bermuda there is no doubt we would stay there! I’d like to thank the Lamb’s for making the Pompano a unforgettable place for our vacation.

One of the World's Hidden Gems!
We recently returned from a truly delightful vacation at Pompano Beach Club. At the time we booked, they were offering a free night with a 3 night stay. We were unable to stay for a 4th night, so upon our arrival we were informed we had received a free upgrade to a deluxe oceanfront room. Our room (room 7) was perfection - secluded yet very convenient to the pool, beach, restaurants, and hot tubs (which are open 24 hours!), and the view and large balcony/patio felt like you were stepping out into the beautiful ocean. With the way the hotel is situated atop a cliff/hilltop overlooking the sea, the views are simply spectacular. The beach is along a large sandbar that makes the water calm, shallow, and perfectly turquoise blue. We loved sleeping and waking to the peaceful sound of the waves and the stunningly blue water. The hotel did not have to give us that upgrade, but it was very kind and generous of them and really made our stay something special. The staff at Pompano were all very kind, friendly, and helpful. Many of them have worked there for years and years. They were always ready to help, but were never pushy or intrusive - just readily available and clearly wanting to make your stay as relaxing as possible. From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable and immediately at ease. This place is not at all stuffy. It's like a home-away-from-home, if only your home was located on a beautiful tropical beach next to a gorgeous golf course. The food included with the meal plan was wonderful. The Ocean Grill was our favorite. The dining room is situated with a full wall of windows overlooking the sea and west towards the dinnertime island sunsets. We enjoyed every menu item we tried. You will be stuffed from the first 4 courses, but definitely don't skip dessert. The desserts were standouts across the board! Alcoholic beverages are not included in the meal plan, but the prices were very reasonable and there were several bars on the small property. Marisol in the onsite Spa Del Sol also deserves a shout out. Marisol is an excellent treatment provider and knowledgeable herbalist with a calming demeanor. Once again, the treatment room overlooked the ocean. My husband and I both booked the El Mar Experience (there was a special on it at the time). We spent the rest of our trip raving to each other about it and we left Bermuda feeling renewed and relaxed. The only negative is that the property is quite dated. I don't love carpet in beach hotel rooms, and the drywall and tilework is all showing its age. If they fully gutted and redid this place, it could truly be a 5-star, world-class resort. But if they did that, I probably couldn't afford to stay there again. Keeping a location as spectacular as this one accessible to the average vacationer seems a better course of action than a major renovation. Some minor updates (tile in place of carpet, fresh paint, more modern furnishings) would really freshen the place up and make the interior spaces feel as inviting as the exterior setting. That said, the rooms and beds were clean and very comfortable, and I got three of the best nights of sleep I've had in years. We moved to the Pompano following a corporate event and 3 night stay at the Hamilton Princess, and also drove around the island and scoped out some of the other resorts. All in all, I would say the accommodations given the overall condition of the property are at a 3-star level, but the location and views, friendly staff, top notch service, great food/meal plan, great spa, and beach with plenty of clean chairs and towels made Pompano Beach Club a 5-star choice in our book. If we are lucky enough to visit Bermuda again, we would love to return to Pompano Beach Club.

Truly a vacation in paradise!
This was the absolutely the BEST vacation we have ever taken. The facilities are top notch - well kept, clean and comfortable. The view of the ocean from our room was beautiful. The restaurant was 5-star from appetizers to desserts. The staff was the most friendly and helpful I have ever had the pleasure to meet. The worst part of our vacation was having to leave. Thanks to everyone for making our 50th anniversary memorable.
