    Playa Azul is an amazing place for family fun!

    Playa Azul was amazing! The staff was very friendly and super helpful. The hotel was clean, and had very comfortable rooms. They helped with booking our tours and had recommendations to some great restaurants. The food at the hotel was great and drinks were always good. It was a fun environment but not a big party scene. My kids felt comfortable had a lot of fun. I highly recommend Playa Azul for a family fun stay.

    Beautiful beach hotel

    If you are looking for a charming laid back hotel with snorkeling off the beach this is it. It’s a small family owned hacienda style hotel that’s older. It’s very well kept and the architecture is beautiful in the rooms and the whole hotel. There are reefs right off the shore to snorkel at and the fish were very diverse. Food at the restaurant was great and the staff were wonderful. We will definitely come back!

    A family hotel

    This hotel is not a chain hotel it is really a family hotel where everyone does everything to make you feel so welcome and at ease. After a few days we already knew all the front desk staff Roberto, Yassir and Yeraldine who are always here to greet you, answer all your questions and find the best deals for you. Guadalupe always greets you so warmly at breakfast, everyone really is so attentive. We will come back!

    Family Friendly Hotel with swimmable beach access and stunning sun sets

    Family Friendly Swimmable beach with an absolutely stunning evening sun set ..great for snorkelers Visited from Sunday -Wednesday very light crowd Hotel … no partying or loud guest encountered. Getting to hotel was easy via taxi which are plentiful at airport 22$ a ride. Check in was smooth and quick… working elevator. Grounds kept clean , groomed and intact. Stayed in 301 jacuzzi suite was beautiful ocean front. L! Also got a side view of the pool (3ft in depth) no issue with the room initially but later in stay hot water was lost but quickly restored with a phone call to front desk. Toilet backed up once again issue quickly resolved. Small fridge in room for use, wasn’t sure if the water was comp or for purchase we did use them. The ac worked fantastically well . I could feel the air coming from under the door when I first arrived ! Love the milt plug outlet hood for multiple devices. Beach was wonderful access from first floor about 50-75 feet from the pool. Absolutely swimmable and enjoyable. Buffet Breakfast is included with the stay and there is an all inclusive package available. The buffet was very fulfilling and each morning had different items along with omelet station ! Outdoor bars , two pools (both kid friendly in depth) and small play scape area . Staff around the hotel was nice I never met anyone who was rude or discourtesy. Small gift shop on site .booked a rental car onsite which was delightful and easy. Quick ride up to town and beach clubs ….. I’d definitely be back to visit the hotel it was absolutely wonderful !! Water activities right next door for rental jet skis boats scuba diving etc . Give it a try !!!

    Cozumel is my second home ❤️

    I LOVE THIS ISLAND When I tell you that I love this island I mean that! I’ve stayed in many hotels here and rentals. This hotel is great! The staff here is amazing!! Front desk ……. Breakfast staff!….. everyone is amazing! They have a great beach access the air conditioning is AMAZING! Roberto, Yizzar (spelling?) Darwin, Martin, Gaudaloupe!! Kermit!! Louise!!! ALL THE STAFF is awesome!!!’even the booking agent for the hotel is always on point! I’ve been coming to Cozumel for over 26 years and so love this hotel because it’s SO close to town and they have such a laid back community here. I have friends on the island that I can welcome here at this property without any issues. It makes my stay even better. I usually eat at many of my favorite restaurants around the island but to have such a wonderful welcome every time I come makes my heart full and happy!
