We had such a great time at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica! The staff were amazing! So incredibly friendly and accommodating. Javier at the Fuel coffee shop made the best cappuccinos! Jose at Tex Mex had the best smile and service we could ask for. Antonio on the entertainment staff was so fun! An incredible week. We met some pretty amazing people staying here too that made it all the better!

Excellent service all around.
The service was excellent at SO CAL both for breakfast and dinner. The buffet was well stocked and had variety. The themed dinner was interesting . A special mention to our efficient and caring breakfast servers Paula, Jimmy and Elmer. Always pleasant and helpful. Their good people skills showed when they knew your preferences ( how you take your coffee and juice preference) on day 2.

Great stay and memorable tours in Papagayo
We stayed at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica with a large family group and had a great experience. The resort is beautiful, very green, and well maintained. We even saw monkeys and tropical birds around the property. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the golf cart service made it easy to get around. While staying in Papagayo, we booked a few tours with Nomad Tours Costa Rica, which were well organized and ran smoothly. Highlights included a private catamaran tour and the Buena Vista Mega Combo, both fun and well worth it. Overall, a great trip to Papagayo and Guanacaste.

An Unforgettable Stay – Truly Above and Beyond
My fiancé and I stayed at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica from January 28 to February 3, 2026, and it was hands down the best vacation we have ever experienced. I had previously stayed at this resort in September 2019, so I arrived with high expectations, but this visit exceeded them in every possible way. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay not only relaxing, but deeply memorable. A very special thank-you to Marvin, our personal concierge. Marvin was exceptional, attentive, knowledgeable, and always available to answer questions and make reservations. What made Marvin exceptional was the genuine thought and care he put into helping make one of the most important moments of our life so special. On our second evening, my partner proposed to me on the beach. Marvin ensured our room was beautifully decorated afterward, complete with champagne, balloons, and chocolate-covered strawberries, along with the most adorable congratulatory note. His care and attention made the moment even more magical. We highly, highly recommend Marvin. We would also love to recognize Jean Carlos, our Star Class server at the pool and cabanas on several days. He was professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive, everything you could hope for in a server. We couldn’t have been happier with the service he provided. Leonard and Kevin also deserve honorable mentions for their kindness and hospitality. From offering us complimentary cabanas to making sure our drinks were always topped up, they consistently went out of their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. A heartfelt thank-you as well to Jose and Randall at the Tex-Mex restaurant. They had no idea that my partner was planning to propose after dinner, yet they made our evening feel so special and memorable through their warmth and friendliness alone. I will always be grateful to them for being part of our engagement story, even without knowing it at the time. To everyone at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica - thank you for creating such a phenomenal experience. We cannot recommend this resort enough and are already planning our future together, including the hope of having our wedding at another Autograph Collection resort. This trip will forever hold a very special place in our hearts.

Great time !
I had a wonderful time at PH. The people work hard and do their best to make the time there restful and entertaining. Alexa and the pool staff are entertaining and engaging. The resort is beautiful and the staff take pride in their work . Noelia and her staff were very helpful and kind. I couldn’t have had a better time. Congratulations to PH for making a memorable vacation for me.
