10 Moms and 10 high school seniors sons. Mostly fantastic experience. James the butler 10/10. He was consistently attentive and helpful. Cabana at star pool was also fantastic- service and location Pickleball was a plus too

Overall review of our stay during Christmas 2025
We had such a wonder time at Planet Hollywood. Overall, it was a Wow! First, the kids club! Soooo amazing! A special thank you to the WONDERFUL staff, Wendy, Alis, Kari and Ruth. You girls rock! You made the difference in our stay and the kids loved to go see you. They wish they could've gone even more. Thank you thank you thank you! Second, Christmas day with Santa, the elfs, etc, was FANTASTIC. Each kid got a super nice gift, Marvel super heroes for my boys. They were so happy. A special thank you to Hector, the manager, who accepted to give a super heroe to my 4 years old so he could have the same gift as his brothers. That was so nice. This event was so well organized, beautiful and it made my heart full to see all the kids, especially mine, so happy! Third, a special mention to Cesar the bartender at the Jurassic Splash. He was so funny, pleasant and always happy! It was such a pleasure to get our drinks from him. His energy is amazing and it was so fun that he remembered details we share with him from our Country, etc. The beach was so nice, the sand so soft. The only thing I would have to say is that I had to get up really early to get chairs if not, there weren't enough. I would love to see more next time we visit. Another thing was the restaurants. We were a party of 6 and we could not manage to have a table at any restaurant at a decent hour for our kids. It was either 5 or 8h30-9 which is to early because we had late lunches or to late for my kids (4,6,8). That is something the resort needs to work on. The other things is that my mother room and our room were in 2 different buildings (25-28) when we specifically asked for adjacent room. That was really frustrating because one of our kids had to sleep in that room. When a family books all together, you should think about that when you assign the rooms especially since it was only one reservation. On top of it all, we sent 3 different emails starting 3 weeks prior to arrival. When we told our concierge, we were very disappointed when he told us that nobody reads the emails. That is very unprofessionnal. When we booked with our agent, it was specied in our reservation. This is something that has to be improved and we are not the only family who had this issue. The Jurassic Splash Park was amazing. The kids love it but it is really made for younger kids like 10 and less. Another thing to work on is the waiting time to get a burger at the burger restaurant or a pizza, at the pizza restaurant. It was minimum 30 minutes sometimes one hour. You really need to think about ordering before you are hungry, which is really anoying! That is something that needs to be adressed because everyone tells the same thing about it. The staff, everywhere in the resort, were really nice and very attentive to our demande. That really made a difference in our stay. Thank you to everyone! From a Candian family!

Great staff
We recently returned for a one week stay at Planet Hollywood Cancun after first coming to the resort this past January. This time we did Star Class and had Jerry and Yomelly as personal concierges for the duration of our stay. They were very helpful and kind, especially when I experienced a major back injury and needed medical attention. The staff around the pool were also very kind and attentive, especially Miguel and Paulino. One piece of feedback I have for the resort is that more coffee dispenser areas are needed aside from Fuel (the coffee shop in the main building) as the Star Class buildings are quite far from that area. Also more chairs are needed around the pool so that people don’t need to be up at 6:30 to secure their spots. Lastly the “higher end” alcohol that’s supposed to be included with Star Class reservations needs to be offered more consistently (e.g., we usually had to point to the alcohol on the shelf otherwise the no name booze was used even in Star Class bars / restaurants). Overall we had a great vacation at PH Cancun and will be returning with our extended family members in March 2026. :)

Rodrigo is the man!
Great service, great strawberry margaritas and great advice in general. Rodrigo the barman in the adult scene is so friendly you have to go there and say hello to him.
