Great Experience. Friendly front desk.
I had a guaranteed 5 night booking at another Marriott property and when I arrived after a 5 hour drive they had cancelled my reservation and re-booked me at an off-brand lower level property nearby. When I insisted the check-in desk clerk call around and find me a nearby Marriott property she sent me to this Marriott hotel. That was the best thing she could have done. When I got there, very frustrated and upset, Yaseen greeted me and was courteous enough to listen to a very upset person. He was very nice, calmed me down and gave me a room that was fantastic. It was on an upper floor, with a great view and plenty of room. He even upgraded me to access to the M Club, so I was able to have breakfast there during the week. This is really nice Marriott hotel in a business area with easy access to freeways and shopping. This is where I will be staying every time I return to Chandler in the future.
My New Home Away From Home
WOW! My new #1 FAVORITE place to stay when in Phoenix! Staff is incredible, big thanks to Zoey at the front desk for immaculate customer service and dedication to make my stay here feel like home! All of the hotel staff bring this property to life. Marriott made the right decision putting their name behind this hotel, I promise you won’t be disappointed.
Extremely very poor customer service by the front office staff
My family was trying to get in touch with an elder relative who was staying at the hotel and we felt was a victim of elder abuse. The staff instead of help us actually sneak the relative and a person who was accompanying the old man from the back door and then kept us waiting for many hours saying they cannot call the room or their policy was to call the room first and ask the guest if they were willing to take the call. I tried to explain that we would like to leave a message but they refused all the time knowing that they had checked out. The staff was very rude and refused to explain the policy again saying he did not have to explain it twice. We had to call the police to come and do a welfare check to then be told that they had checked out hours ago. They could have told us that in the first place.
Birth of our 1st Grandchild
This Marriott was perfectly located close to the birthing center and our Daughters residence, Marriott Chandler's lobby was under renovation the front office staff were very welcoming and attentive to guest entering and exiting the building. The only downside was for the three days we were there our room was not cleaned we asked for clean towels once which we received, the 2nd request we asked for clean towels and room attention neither request was addressed but housekeeping did knock on our door the day we were checking out to see if we had exited. We were usually out of the room before 9am, I understand staffing and a lot of places are going green, hotels/lodging is costly I think when folks check in you should let them know services are upon request set the expectation.
Close to everything
We stayed here as a family of four to visit our friends who live close by. We didn't realize this was a hotel mainly for business travelers. We didn't care because we got the pool to ourselves and the hotel was super quiet. The gym was awesome and the pool...perfect for 2 little kids to swim around. I honestly think my kids were the only ones staying at the hotel the few days we were there but it worked out perfectly for our family.
