Sub-par
Not as pleased as I thought I would be. I’m close to being Marriott Platinum, so as you can see, Marriott is typically my preferred hotel brand. The food in my meeting was good. My room was large but very stark. No decor whatsoever. The bed was okay for comfort, but pillows were the worst - very cheap. I was going to still give a 4, but I went to the bar to get a glass of champagne and no was working. Wait staff would look around the corner, but no one came. Finally a manager walked by and said he would get someone, but after 10 minutes of waiting, I left. The front desk said I could order food from them, but no drinks until someone came in. I’ve never heard of such in a major brand hotel!

Nice hotel, bad doors.
Clean and relatively new. Nice overall but please just replace the dreadful barn door style slider for the bathroom. It's not only annoying, is also easy to pinch fingers when it sides closed. Rooms don't have many amenities, nor does this hotel. But it's good for sleeping.

Disappointing
One of the worst motel stays ever had, and we are easy to please and not complainers; others in our large group had similar complaints. Pros: novel looking lobby; fast elevators; strong water pressure and plenty of hot water; nice over couch lamp. Cons: a person has to squeeze between toilet and bathroom counter to share vanity(and we are trim); novel room design, but looks like concrete jail(no art or decor) and in a number of ways impractical: glass door to bathroom means someone can't get up at night without waking other because of light; large gap around bathroom door since it is on a big track and since it is glass their is little privacy; large gap under room door lets in a lot of light; gaps in window curtains; no real dresser or closet in the room; office chair doesn't have arms; top sheet was tucked in at top of bed to look like bottom sheet rather than folded back so it seemed you had to sleep under douvet w/o top sheet (others in group had similar experience until we pressed front desk about it; that was an insane practice); the automated wake-up call kept repeating despite being deleted; unresponsive hotel front desk staff, promised to bring coffee pods, never did, seemed understaffed and flippant; no room safe; it just seemed everything was designed to save the hotel money; etc. We could go on, but it just seems the room designer must have just graduated from high school and came up with novel designs which at first excites people, but in practice aren't good ideas and quickly lose their appeal.

Solid and Consistent
Always consistently solid and reliable. A basic Marriott that is modern, clean and accommodating. My room was comfortable and well-suited for my 1-night stay. I enjoyed the M Club amenities including a pretty decent continental breakfast. I spent an hour at the pool.. plenty of towels and had the pool largely to myself. Can’t beat $99/night. Strongly recommended.

Definitely The Best Hotel
I checked in on August 18, 2023 @ 2:45pm and will be checking out tomorrow (August 20, 2023). I scored a pretty good deal using my AAA card on the Marriott Bonvoy App for $99/night with my total being $199.00. Upon checking in I was informed a $50/night incidental charge so my total went to $299.00 which still isn't bad. This hotel was pretty busy being they have meeting & Convention rooms on property. As I stayed here I witness a lot of people wearing badges with the main convention room full of people which made sense to why the hotels in chandler was pretty much sold out. I was put into room 621 which featured 2 Queen Beds overlooking at the beautiful mountains and somewhat green/yellow fields of chandler Arizona. The room also had high ceilings which you don't see often in any hotel rooms. As i usually stay at other branded Marriott hotels this stay was my first ever actual Marriott stay. What I loved the most was the shower heads you had a handheld as well as a mounted fixture. Just everything about this hotel made it worth the price per night. They even had a neat little spray next to the beds you can spray on your pillows before going to bed so you can sleep and wake up refresh & not drained. Not only does this hotel had a convention center/ Meeting rooms on site they also had a Pool open from 7am-10pm, 24 hour fitness room. Starbucks open from 6am-10am, Restaurant & Bar as well open from 5pm-1am daily. Just everything about this Marriott literally made it worth not even leaving the hotel on this trip. Overall I highly recommend this Marriott to anyone looking for a hotel in the Chandler Area....
