Spacious villas with a botanical garden vibe
We stayed in a waterfront villa (was upgraded by the hotel 😊). The view was very pretty off the waterside balcony. The villa was spacious with nicely appointed bathrooms & amenities. Microwave and mini fridge were great, just missing a small table and chairs to eat at in the living room. The walls of the villas do not block neighbor noise, so if you are a light sleeper be aware. You will need a car or use a ride share to reach the tourist areas of Key West. Valet parking was mandatory which some other reviewers complained about due to the cost but we found the valets to be extremely professional and speedy. The four pools were heated and offered privacy. Drinks at the pool side restaurant were good. The breakfast options were also a nice way to start the day. Staying at Parrot Key is a significant investment but if you are looking for a resort away from the noise and bustle of downtown Key West it is a great option.

Awesome experience
Had a great 3 day stay in Key West. The rooms were clean. The water view rooms have an awesome view. Lots of amenities on property. Also close to lots of restaurants. Not very far from downtown and have shuttle to downtown during the day.

Avoid this one
I don’t really understand how this hotel got the good reviews that it did. It was feral. It was far enough from the beach that we had to get a Lyft. Every day, the room was an icebox, the maid service was nonexistent, the prices were exorbitant, and the food was terrible.

We loved staying at Parrot Key!
We loved where we stayed at Parrot Key. We had a great view of the Gulf from our room and our rooms were clean and quiet. The staff was very accommodating. I would highly recommend staying there if we are looking for a place in Key West.

Beautiful property & great value for a relaxing vacation!
This resort is lush with plants and trees and looks just like the pictures. The pools were spacious and clean and we had a good mix of sun and shade. The food and drinks are great and we liked that it was quiet and adult-oriented. Service was excellent and there are shuttles to Front St and Smathers Beach with great options for water activities too. The only downside is it’s on the edge of the non-tourist area in a gritty area but within the property itself, you don’t even notice this. A well-run establishment that we are already planning to revisit next January!
