The Park Shore Waikiki gives you a perfect view of both Diamond Head and Waikiki beach and is located right across the Honolulu Zoo. We enjoyed this smaller hotel that doesn’t get as busy and crowded as some of the other hotels in Waikiki. Guest Services made sure we enjoyed our stay by checking with us periodically throughout our stay with text messages. The rooms are a little dated but clean. Great security feature with the elevators requiring your room key scanned before selecting a floor. Overall, a great stay. We will definitely consider returning.

First time in Hawaii. The Park Shore Waikiki was excellent! Rooms were clean, view was fabulous. Staff was very helpful and friendly Beach right across the street. Really enjoyed our trip. No complaints. Will definitely book at this hotel again.

Park Shore Waikiki – A Fantastic Stay with the Best Location!
We had an amazing experience staying at Park Shore Waikiki and would absolutely stay again! If you’re looking for a great location, friendly staff, and budget-friendly perks, this hotel delivers in every way. 🌺 Exceptional Service & Check-In Experience From the moment we arrived late at night, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. They even told us we didn’t have to fully check in until morning, understanding how tired we were after a long travel day. That small gesture set the tone for an incredibly welcoming stay. 🏖 Perfect Location – Best Spot in Waikiki! ✔ Right across from the beach with stunning ocean views ✔ Next to a grassy park with live music (so relaxing!) ✔ Close to everything – shops, restaurants, and easy access to transit ✔ Loved the seawall—one side had waves, and the other was calm for kids! We woke up to rainbows over the pool, and the ocean was just steps away. You can’t beat this location! 🛏 Spacious Room & Comfortable Cot Many reviews mention small rooms, but we had plenty of space for 3 adults and a 5-year-old, even with a rollaway cot for my 24-year-old stepdaughter. At first they said they typically don’t use cots in a regular room but I said we’d pay and not an issue. I am not sure why people think they don’t fit. We just shuffled the desk to the side to make sure the house keeping could clean around the room and it was fine . The cot was way more comfortable and bigger than expected! 💰 Budget-Friendly Perks & Free Amenities Park Shore is one of the best hotels for free perks, which helped us save money: ✔ Free unlimited sunscreen (I even packed some in a container to take with us!) ✔ Free after-sun lotion ✔ Free coffee in the lobby until the afternoon ✔ Free water refill stations (we brought our own bottles but also bought cute ones from ABC) ✔ Free beach rentals – We used boogie boards and paddleboards! Has microwave and fridge and coffee machine in room with safe. We also brought our own snorkels, masks, and a pop-up tent, which made beach days even easier. 🏊♀️ Relaxing Pool & Ocean Views The pool was small but peaceful, and we loved relaxing with a drink while looking at the ocean. The view from the balcony was unreal, and we even had little birds visit us in the mornings! 🌟 Overall Experience – Would We Stay Again? Absolutely! ✔ Friendly & accommodating staff ✔ Amazing location right across from the beach ✔ Great free amenities that save money ✔ Perfect for families or travelers who want a mix of adventure & relaxation If you’re looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Waikiki with great value, Park Shore Waikiki is a fantastic choice! We had the best time and would 100% stay again! 🌺🏝✨

Mar 19, 2025Nice hotel by the zoo. All the basics right.
This is a good clean 3-star hotel at the east end of Waikiki right by the zoo. It quieter, has many amenities like a pool and gym. And very friendly staff. The rooms are nice but a bit older and has the smell of humidity in the older carpets. We're pretty simple travellers with basic needs so for between $250-325/night, this is about right.

And the winner is........Park Shore!
Park Shore has the best staff. The front desk staff and bell team are so friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Yes, the hotel is older, BUT the rooms are clean, and affordable and in the best location! We stayed one night before a cruise in a standard room (pretty basic) and then three nights in an upgraded room afterward. Good choice.( Thanks Angel!) Upgraded room much larger and had wonderful view. I am so happy that we found ParkShore. Compliments to the entire staff! K Venice Fl
