Our stay was amazing at palafitos. The pool butler Alvaro was excellent, As was our team of Daniel, Mauricio and Pilar who took very good care of us all week. The room was beautiful!

Palifitos is the best
We stayed at Palifitos in February and it was absolutely amazing! Avalro was our beach butler and was fantastic. It’s like everyone at the resort knew what we needed before we even knew we needed anything. Pillar, mauricio and Daniel were our butlers the whole week. They were so nice and on top of everything. Lilliana in the spa did my massage and it was very relaxing. Alberto was a welcome friend at the resort as well. Always had a smile on his face. Bertha was our room attendant and she was thorough and very good. The food was excellent. The views are spectacular. 5 stars

A True Tropical Paradise
Everything was so incredible! From the food, to the entertainment, to the beaches and friendliness of the staff. Alvaro at the beach took amazing care of us each day in our Bali bed and made sure we had everything we could possibly ask for.

The hotel staff are very nice and want to accommodate and help out. The rooms are nice but not a 5 star level. The rooms are also noisy. The air conditioning is on the louder side and you hear noise in the early morning when they are bringing supplies to the restaurant at the end of the pier. It is very nice to have deck overlooking the ocean. We sat outside most of the day but there is limited shade. There should be an umbrella or something else providing shade. We used their transportation when we left the resort and they messed up a pick up. Lastly, I do not feel they properly deal with the payment exchange. When they tell you a price in dollars and even sign a receipt for that dollar amount they still charge you a higher amount that they claim is an exchange rate issue. It did not make any sense other than they were trying to make a few extra dollars on every charge.

Highly Recommend
We love coming to El Dorado Maroma! This was our third stay and it’s just as amazing as it was the last two visits. The staff continues to provide the utmost customer service and hospitality, allowing us to have the most enjoyable time. Our friends Alvaro, Daniel, Fernando, and Janet made our visit unforgettable!
