Mar 08, 2026Incredible stay at Palaftios- you cannot regret coming here!!!!
It’s hard to put into words how fantastic our very short time at Palafitos was! We are so impressed we are planning returning for our honeymoon in the future. From the most incredibly warm welcome from Alberto, to the exceptional service from Leonardo (the bar man) we truly feel like we have been spoiled from start to finish. Every meal at the palafitos grill was delicious including the very impressive elements dinner. We also enjoyed the beach bbq on our final day which was a great way to end the experience. The bungalows were deceptively spacious, well maintained and clean with maid & turndown service being frequent. Our butlers were attentive and helpful at any opportunity & nothing was any trouble.

Paradise in Mexico!
We recently got back from our 3rd trip to Palafitos in past 3 years, and it again did not disappoint. This resort is beautiful and the overwater bungalows are perfect! The service is top notch, starting with Alberto, our favorite bellman. He always has a smile and has a great sense of humor. We again were fortunate enough to have Enrique as our butler, who is so helpful and so friendly. He is a big reason why we keep coming back to Palafitos vs our prior favorite resort at the Casitas. We also had William as a butler who also did an incredible job. As always, the food and drinks were delicious. I’d recommend this resort to anyone wanting to try staying in an overwater bungalow but doesn’t want to have to go all the way to the South Pacific!

Plan to be SPOILED!
I could write a very lengthy review praising everything about this place! But in short- if you want to go to a place where you can just relax and be totally spoiled- this place is a must do! Loved having such a small, no rush - very chill atmosphere. It seemed that every single staff person absolutely loved working at the resort and made each person feel so special. Shout out to Alberto a wonderful friend that we are glad to have met! Our butlers William and Mauricio- never missed a beat! Even the young man Emmanuel who gave us brief introduction to the membership program, was very polite helpful and friendly. The main pool staff were so much fun! Spend the money and take trip to be spoiled!

Heaven on earth!
Another wonderful trip to Palifitos! Always great service, good food and excellent weather! It is the definition of paradise! Highly recommend!
