    Wonderful xmas time big thanks to Diana

    spent Christmas with my son to give him his dream: attending a Golden State Warriors game and seeing Stephen Curry. We arrived on Saturday, December 20, and unfortunately there was no electricity at the hotel due to an incident, with the police present on site. We were extremely tired after a 12-hour flight from Paris and a 9-hour time difference. We were kindly relocated for the night, free of charge, to a nearby hotel. I would like to sincerely and wholeheartedly thank Diana and Jelle for their incredible kindness. They did everything possible to make sure my son and I were taken care of and properly relocated. Thanks to them, we were able to return to the Palace Hotel the next morning. I would also like to thank Shinatsu, the concierge, who was extremely helpful. The hotel itself is magnificent, with a gigantic and beautiful Christmas tree. The Pied Piper restaurant is very good, and Camille, the hostess, was absolutely lovely. The gym and the swimming pool are also excellent. Once again, a huge thank you to Diana, Jelle, and Camille for their kindness and professionalism. Thank you🎄💕🙏

    “Luxury” is lacking

    The room is not particularly distinctive but pleasant enough. The Japanese toilet is a nice touch. Great, friendly service from the staff. However, what I cannot ignore, having stayed at luxury hotels the world over, is the utter ridiculousness of telling a guest in a luxury hotel that breakfast is fully booked and to be prepared to wait for a long time as a “walk-in.” In a five star hotel, even during the holidays, this is UNACCEPTABLE. Guests are paying for a five star experience and you need to accommodate them - full stop. Dinner, a reservation is necessary, yes. But breakfast, you need to welcome the people that are staying here without a wait, or them competing for a spot with people that are not staying here. You need to do better if you’re going to brand yourself a luxury hotel. Period.

    Fun Holiday Tea Experience

    Came for the Holiday carolers tea at the garden court to celebrate the holidays and our anniversary…. Was absolutely beautiful with a Grand Christmas tree & carolerssinging as we enjoyed our tea. Our server, Sam was amazing and took wonderful care of us and made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend this for an afternoon tea experience.
