Great beach hotel.
The front desk staff was excellent at check-in and check out. The room was spacious with a great view. Lyn, our housekeeper was very attentive, answered our questions and kept the room very clean. I plan on cy back again the same time next year.

Truly a Home Away From Home
My wife and I spent a week at KBH earlier this month it was our 6th time at the hotel and the first since Outrigger took over. We were a bit apprehensive and worried that the magic that was the old KBH would have been lost in transition. But our worries were soon put to rest once we arrived at the hotel and began to interact with the wonderful staff some of whom remembered us from past visits. We were moved to our favorite oceanfront room and our housekeeper was May, a friend from past visits who took wonderful care of us. The beauty and charm of the KBH is found in the staff, such as May, who make it into a home away from home. The renovations add a touch of luxury as well.

One week in Maui!🌴☀️🐟🐠
Where do I even begin? We spent one glorious week at the Outrigger Kā‘anapali in Maui and fell in love—hard. From day one, the staff were unbelievably kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to have us there. Check-in was quick and painless, and despite arriving early (and mentally preparing to kill time), our room was already ready. Vacation win. Our recently renovated room was clean, quiet, and came with ocean views that made us pause mid-sentence more than once. The hotel sits right on Kā‘anapali Beach, which is not only stunning but also dangerously good for convincing you that time no longer matters. Snorkeling at Black Rock—just down the beach—is a must. We saw sea turtles, tons of fish, and even sea lions. And for the brave (or slightly peer-pressured), cliff jumping off Black Rock is right there. Highly entertaining whether you jump or just watch. Now let’s talk about Maui Brewing Co., which is conveniently located at the hotel—because clearly someone planned this well. Happy hour is very real, live music happens every night, and every performer we heard was incredibly talented. The food and drinks were so good that we “accidentally” ate there almost every day. No apologies, no regrets! And as if that wasn’t enough, Whalers Village is just a short walk up the beach. It’s packed with great shops and restaurants, including Monkeypod—home to amazing food and a happy hour that absolutely lives up to the hype. We rented a car and paid for self-parking, which at $25 a day felt downright reasonable compared to Oahu. Totally worth it for exploring the island. Bottom line: if you’re heading to Maui and want beachfront, great vibes, excellent food, and a hotel that just gets it—Outrigger Kā‘anapali is it. We’d stay here again in a heartbeat (and probably order the same drinks).

Great Ka'anapali Beach Resort!
We loved Outrigger Ka'anapali Beach Resort! The location was amazing right on the beach. We were there every day to enjoy the ocean and watch the sunset. The staff was great and the room was clean when we arrived and every day we were there. We'd definitely come back here ourselves and recommend you do to!

Fabulous Hotel
This hotel was fabulous. We didn't want to leave. Beautiful location, great customer service, great restaurant and we took part in wonderful activities. Lei making was fun and the departure ceremony was very moving, very cultural and glad that we all took part in it. All the staff were amazing and so welcoming and clearly very proud of their Hawaiian culture.
