Dec 08, 2025Sadly Omni experience fell short
We’ve been visiting Omni La Mansión for five years in a row for the holiday lights and have always had wonderful experiences. Unfortunately, this year’s stay was a major disappointment. We paid for a river-view room, but the room we received was at the very end of the river with almost no view and hardly any holiday lights — nothing like what we’ve had in previous years or what is advertised. We also requested weeks in advance to be on the same floor as our friends, but that request wasn’t honored. When we brought these concerns to the front desk, they were unable to offer a room change and didn’t provide any alternative options or gestures to help make things right. On top of that, there was a large marathon happening in the city that made reaching the hotel extremely difficult. We were surprised that we received no notification from the hotel in advance, which would have helped us plan accordingly. I hope the hotel takes feedback like this seriously, as the level of care and service fell far short of what we’ve come to expect.

Excellent service and incredibly helpful staff who truly made me feel at home. The hotel has a cozy, boutique-style room—on the smaller side—but beautifully designed and located right in the heart of San Antonio. A wonderful stay overall!

Luxury but friendly all the way through!
Super friendly staff everywhere. We brought our small pets and the staff were so friendly with them. It was such an enjoyable experience, especially watching the river parade from the balcony. Will definitely recommend to family and friends to stay here for a wonderful getaway!

Perfection
Beautiful hotel with luxury accommodations, extremely pleasant and helpful staff, and perfectly located on the River Walk. The gym at the sister hotel Mokara is excellent. Restaurant food was just ok.

Great experience!
This was one of the best hotel stay experiences I've ever had. The level of customer service was beyond my expectations. The hotel is perfectly located in the downtown area and is a beautiful place to stay.
