The experience was very relaxing and calming. The service was for the most part very good and the waiters tried their best to entertain. The pool was fun and the bedrooms were very comfortable. Getting a pool side if possible is very beneficial.

Fab stay at the Ocean El Faro
Overall, this is a fab hotel. Facilities are amazing, grounds are well kept, staff work tirelessly and there’s lots of choice and space in this massive complex to find your place to relax. Special call out to Zoraida from the Pool Bar who went above and beyond to ensure me and my wife had such a special holiday. We’ll miss her smiling face. We found loads of sunbeds available, pools were well kept including the swim up rooms, cleaning staff were great, choice of restaurants were great. I’d have rated the hotel a 5, however just some minor tweaks needed by the hotel management. My wife uses a wheelchair, and the complex is generally flat, rooms have walk in showers and entry to restaurants is generally accessible. However, my wife found it difficult to reach the serving dishes in the main restaurant so gad to rely on me. Also, more of a problem, the main showtime theatre has 8 or 9 steps at the entrance. The hotel does have a lift where you can watch shows from the gantry where the lighting team sit, but it’s hardly ideal and there’s no room for a carer / partner to sit. A simple solution might be to place a ramp into the theatre? The other comment is most of the food at the main restaurant is barely warm. To be honest, you can get freshly made up pasta which is great and the themed restaurants are also much better. We found the Blue Moon the best of them. Overall, we’d go come back here so don’t be out off by all the negative comments on TA.

We were very nervous coming on this trip due to previous awful reviews The hotel is beautiful & all staff have been very friendly to us we got a taxi from the hotel to Bavaro beach & the hotel taxi driver made sure we saved his number to make sure we could get back to the hotel safely after our adventure. He also kindly walked us along the promenade to the sand. We are staying in the El Beso section & the Pez Dama buffet has been lovely with a great selection of food & the drinks at the pool bars are definitely NOT watered down The beach is a little rocky when you go in the water but we came prepared with water shoes & had a blast in the sea We have had absolutely no issues with towels or sun loungers & do not understand previous bad reviews We are on day 3 & having a lovely time here Thank you for the amazing hospitality 😊

Blue Team was Amazing
Absolutely amazing stay at Ocean El Faro. The staff made the experience one of the best vacations my fiancé and I have had. Franklin, Wanda, Edwardo, and Tyson kept the entertainment going 24/7 including beach parties, foam parties, fun competitions, Bingo Bango, and so much more. Thank you for the outstanding experience!

The trip was wonderful, beautiful large resort. Entertainment at the adult pool daily was fun and very engaging. The beach is nice also, but the pool is where it’s at with tons of bars throughout the grounds.
