Nov 05, 2026Beautiful Architecture, Underwhelming Experience
The hotel makes a very strong first impression. The lobby and common areas are visually impressive, with beautiful Art Deco-inspired architecture, dramatic arches, high ceilings, large windows, and striking black-and-white flooring. The overall design is undoubtedly one of the property's strongest assets. Unfortunately, the rooms feel dated and do not quite match the quality suggested by the public areas. Even the in-room coffee setup is surprisingly basic, with a standard machine producing very weak American coffee rather than something more appropriate for this category. Food was fairly basic, without anything particularly memorable. The beach was also disappointing, lacking the beautiful turquoise water and coarse Caribbean sand that would make the experience more special. Service was somewhat inconsistent. While some staff members were pleasant, not everyone was particularly welcoming or proactive. Overall, a beautiful hotel architecturally, especially the lobby and common areas, but the accommodation, food, beach, and service leave room for improvement. At US$241 per night, I expected a more polished and consistent experience.

We were very impressed with this resort from the second we pulled up to the lobby. All the staff was extremely nice & helpful. Our concierge, Miguel Garrido, was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond to help make this the most memorable trip. We will request him when we return, and we will definitely be back. The food at each restaurant was amazing. We didn't have one bad meal. Loved the coffee at Mike's coffee shop and the smoothies were excellent. The grounds are beautiful and love how the resort is laid out. Spent a lot of time in the lazy river as well as the pool. We even got to the lagoon on the last day. The rooms were clean and anything that went wrong was handled quickly. The staff does their best to keep the grounds clean but people were leaving cups and cans around. The staff tried to keep up. Absolutely recommend this resort.

Franyer was great entertainment at the adult pool. The resort was very clean. The rooms are a little bit outdated but very, very clean no complaints so except one day they ran out of towels.

Luxury
I loved the incredible hotel, the cleaning staff and the animation guys are incredible. I did aerobics exercises and I loved the kindness of Gerson, very cute ❤️🇩🇴

Great
Animation team are amazing! Very polite professional and great with the kids. Roberto is very friendly and made our experience amazing :) Francesca the general manager is absolutely FANTASTIC the best we could wished for she made all the birthdays in the group on the trip so special and we were over the moon with her service.
