Get a tan & get Robbed all at one location
My safe was robbed of 830usd Over 1300cnd The hotel investigated for 3 days to tell me this! Dear Ms. Kaminski, I hope this email finds you well. On behalf of the Management Team at Ocean Coral Spring and Ocean Eden Bay, I would like to offer my sincerest apologies for the distress and concern this situation has caused you. Please be assured that we treat all allegations regarding the security of our guests' belongings with the highest level of priority and care. We have carefully reviewed the details of your claim, noting the initial report of $1,000 USD made to Sunwing Vacations and the subsequent update of $830 USD shared with our Hotel Manager. To ensure a thorough investigation, our Security Team conducted a full technical audit of your room’s safe. The audit indicates that the safe remained physically intact throughout your stay and was accessed only by using the unique personal code set upon check-in. Because the system shows no unauthorized entry or technical malfunctions, we are unable to find evidence of third-party interference. We truly understand that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, and for that, we sincerely apologize. The bar staff KENYA os very rude and disrespectful
We went to the premium area by the pool side, she was unwilling to help us find a seat, she shouted to me, my family and another guest (I dont know the guest) that the area was full and there were no seats. She did not try to get any chairs or anything, to which I said to my family, “they aren’t worth fly” at no point in time did I address the bar staff by the pool.. she then turn around started looking at me and cutting her eyes, to which I responded with “why are you looking at me like that?” The young lady started going off talking about me having a bad day and throwing it on her, to which I said to her I wasn’t talking to you, she still continued with the attitude and arguing by the pool. I tried to take her name off her name tag to which she covered it and turned her back in an attempt for me to not see her name. We ended up going to our room and gave up for the day. If she is by the pool bar another day I am not going there because I dont want her serving me or my family because she does not have any manners and she should not be representing the hotel in no way, shape or form. We feel disrespected and it is not the first time we are being embarrassed by a member of staff. Last year we had a similar experience which we will not speak on right now but management got involved.

Disappointing Experience at Ocean Coral Springs – Beautiful Setting, But Falls Short of Five-Star Standards
I am currently staying at Ocean Coral Springs in Jamaica with my three sons, having arrived on December 26, 2025, for a week’s vacation. While the resort boasts lovely common areas like the lobby and generally well-appointed rooms, our experience has been marred by a series of operational shortcomings that have significantly detracted from what should have been a relaxing family getaway. As a supposed five-star property, these issues feel particularly inexcusable, especially during one of the busiest travel periods of the year. Upon arrival, we understood that checking in early might mean a wait, but we were unprepared for our room to remain unavailable nearly two hours past the official check-in time. Once we finally accessed it, we were further disappointed to find our balcony lacked the hanging chairs present on approximately 80% of the others. This was a real letdown for my children, who had been excited about this feature and couldn’t help but notice it on neighboring balconies – a small but symbolic oversight that highlighted inconsistent standards. Throughout our stay, we’ve encountered frequent shortages that I’ve never experienced at other resorts, even in destinations like Cuba where I’ve vacationed multiple times. Simple items like mint for Mojitos and bananas have been unavailable, and the pool bar ran out of cups before lunchtime on one occasion. I appreciate that the recent hurricane may have impacted exterior elements, and I hold no grudge there, but the apparent poor planning for peak season is frustrating and unacceptable. The global money exchange in the lobby has no currency available, leaving guests without change for tips – a basic service one would expect. Speaking with various staff members, there’s a clear consensus that management has made significant cutbacks, which seems to be at the root of these problems. For instance, at the Teppanyaki restaurant, the food was delightful, but we were strictly informed that no uneaten portions could leave the premises, adding an unnecessary rigidity to an otherwise enjoyable meal. That said, the true highlight of this resort is its dedicated staff, who go above and beyond despite these challenges. A special shoutout to Milton, who has been working tirelessly – harder than anyone – to keep guests happy and make the best of the situation. Their warmth and effort are the saving grace here. Overall, while the resort has potential, I cannot recommend Ocean Coral Springs to others. For the price of a “five-star” experience, travelers can find similar or superior service and amenities at far more affordable resorts without these persistent frustrations. Save your money and look elsewhere for a truly seamless vacation.

The experience here was great, and the customer service was exceptional. From check-in, the receptionist was very accommodating, and all staff members were friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend Monique Jones—she ensured I was well taken care of and truly did her best to accommodate my needs.

Perfect Winter Getaway
Our stay at Ocean Coral Springs for a 60th birthday was amazing! From the check in, with Georgia at the front desk, to check out everything went smoothly. Natesha at Martha's Market checked on us our very first morning and arranged a special meal of Jamaican foods for our next day. Our family of Jamaican and Jamericans were overwhelmingly grateful and she followed up each day to ensure we were happy with the service. Kelly Ann served the family style breakfast, and Chef Fabian came out to speak to us after, which was so lovely and made us feel like VIPs. Latoya at the Italian restaurant, Joyce, Vernal, and Shane (who sang to us on our last day) all gave such attentive and friendly service. For the 60th birthday beachside dinner there was a beautiful setup and all of the food was delicious. I will say that going forward if there is a smaller romantic party maybe giving them more space from a louder more boisterous one (such as ours) for their comfort and privacy. Also I think having a team of people to set out the food initially would make things go smoother especially for the server who was also bombarded with requests for drinks, condiments etc. Everything was clean, operational and efficient in spite of having a natural disaster just a month before our trip! I was always able to get a beach chair and enjoy the water. The beach is very rocky, so be sure to bring water shoes, but an amazing view, clear water and cool breeze. Most importantly I would stay here again and recommend the hotel to anyone looking for accommodations in Jamaica!
