DO NOT BOOK THE FREE TRANSFER SHUTTLE
DO NOT BOOK THE FREE TRANSFER! The hotel itself is okay. We stayed on the Eden side in 2022 and 2023 with no major complaints. However, this most recent stay (11/24/25–11/28/25) was very disappointing. We traveled as a family of 8, and despite the resort having very low occupancy, check-in took an extremely long time—even with Privilege access. The resort was basically empty, yet we did not get into our rooms until around 5–6 PM, which was unacceptable. Another major issue was the lack of communication regarding restaurant availability. Since the resort has limited dining options, it’s very important to know that some restaurants are ONLY open on certain days. This information was not communicated in advance, making it difficult to plan meals. Instead of updating the app, we were expected to walk to the lobby every day to get a printed schedule—very inconvenient. The biggest issue, and the reason for this review, was the “free” shuttle service. We booked our return airport transfer through the lobby service (Turissimo). On the day of departure, the driver never showed up. We were forced to pay out of pocket for a private driver at 5:00 AM to avoid missing our flight. There were no apologies, no accountability, and no refund from the hotel. Gym-every piece of cardio equipment was broken. What a bummer Because of this experience alone, I’m honestly not sure if we will ever return

Ocean coral spring
Absolutely fabulous resort. Best I’ve ever been to and can’t wait to return. Food was supreme and the staff made the trip. They were flawless! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Horrible
Honestly the worst place i've ever stayed. I got here at 1pm and we we're told that I could only check in for 3, which was understandable. I was given a notification device that would tell me when my room was ready. I went back down after four and the lobby was filled with people getting rooms that had just arrived. Finally, when I did get a room, my view was the garden view which is honestly the most hideous heartbreaking thing you'll ever see. Stray dogs everywhere, which is not the resort's issue or problem. But they have horses tied up all day in the same spot in full sun, with no water. All you can smell is horse poop on my balcony. When dogs become a nuisance on the property because they just come to drink the water, the security from the resorts, tie them to trees clearly seeing that they have babies and have engorged chests because they need to feed their babies. The buffet is closed most every night, leaving you scrambling where to eat. Route sixty six is pretty much it's the only option. You get better food at seven eleven. And the other restaurants you need a reservation. For the amount of money I pay for this place, I will never return and I don't suggest anybody to come here honestly.

Amazing for 1 month after a hurricane
Amazing considering...they were 1 month after the worst hurricane in the island's history. There was still visible damage like glass missing from top floor balconies, but pretty much everything was back in service. I think some of the restaurants were open on a rotating basis (also, due to the very few guests in the hotel while we were there). The ocean was warm and the pools were great, the lazy river was fun, and the kids play pool was also nice. Our room faced west to the lagoon and the ocean, while our kids room faced the big pool. Something I liked about the desing is that the rooms that overlook the pool and face each other, are a long way apart. So you still have pretty good privacy on in your room and balcony. The buffet always had plenty to choose from (we are vegan but our son in law loves meat). I don't know what it would be like if the place was full, buy we would return.

Enjoyable stay, Honest review
Stayed in Ocean Coral Spring for a week in December. It was a very pleasant stay. Welcoming and nice staff, care about everyone’s needs. Still some post-hurricane repairs underway, but they don’t really bother. Some restaurants work on the short schedule but there is more than enough food. Some limited stock of vegetables and not so vide selection of food but mostly everything is very tasty. Surprisingly decent WiFi all through the resort. Comfy rooms with good working ACs. I wish the hotel a fast catching up on their normal guest capacity and hope to find the same level of service when come back.
