Paradise Found
This was our first visit to Turks and Caicos and West Bay Club and it won’t be our last. We decided by the 2nd day to make this an annual tradition and to stay at this property for the rest of our lives for a break every winter. The property is located on the quiet, chill and relaxed section of famed Grace Bay Beach. It was perfect for us - the sand, water is exquisite and the vibe was purely copacetic. We splurged on the Luxury One Bedroom Ocean Front - holy moly. It was huge with a sweet deck overlooking the beach. It was so convenient and comfortable to go from room to beach chairs and back. It made all the difference. The staff were uniformly warm, friendly and welcoming - and I mean everyone. It was special and exactly right for us. If you are looking to relax and recharge your batteries - this is the place.

Amazing
Where do you even start with this place! We are here celebrating our 30 wedding anniversary. We were looking to be by ourselves to enjoy each others company. We got exactly what we were looking for. The people are the friendliest, all of them! The beach is a short walk 50 yards. It is wide. The sand is like baby powder. Everyone at this hotel are looking for the same thing and the deliver. We stayed I. A suite on the bottom floor so it was out the door and on the beach in minutes. The rooms are very well kept. You can eat here or if you walk across the lawn there is a 5 star restaurant and I highly recommend it as well. Brisket is amazing. They also make their ice cream every day. We checked and after 8 days found out our air plane was going to mis connect so we walked off and decided to stay for 4 more days. My only advice is to rent a car if you are going to stay here. They are inexpensive and they will deliver them to the hotel. Then you don’t have to wait for a taxi. You can grocery shop and eat in your room if you like. We have stayed in many places and are kinda spoiled. If you are looking to recharge and do things on your clock. This is the place and the people are the icing on the cake.

The perfect wedding!
We celebrated our daughter’s wedding at the West Bay Club and the staff was extraordinary! Beatrice, Kizzy, Jose, Petrona, Courtney, and so many others made the event - and the week - absolutely spectacular. The food was terrific, including an exceptional breakfast. The beach is stunning and there is plenty of space for guests. The rooms are beautiful. Everyone, without exception, was remarkable. The resort hosted a welcome reception the night before the wedding and handled all of the details with perfection. The wedding was incredible and the wedding reception was outstanding! We could not have been more pleased!

Nice resort and lovely beach
This was our first time on Turks and will probably be our last. We booked West Bay as it was a Preferred hotel and I wanted to get my iPrefer perks and points. We arranged a private car through the hotel which was efficient albeit expensive ($100). When we arrived didn’t receive any recognition of elite iPrefer status- no welcome amenity, no upgrade, nada. We booked a standard oceanfront 1 bedroom which was incredibly spacious and well appointed. View from the small balcony was great. The Occitane bathroom products were great and my husband raved about the in room coffee though on the second to last day when the coffee filters weren’t replaced by housekeeping, my husband called down and no one came up to replace. They weren’t replaced even the next morning. Breakfast is pretty standard though you are able to put in a special order. I was a little disappointed that there wasn’t more local specialties or Caribbean flavors. We ended up having the Friday night bbq buffet which was a huge rip off at $79 per person but we were tired and didn’t want to mess with going out in a cab (don’t get me started on the whole cab thing which has nothing to do with the hotel) The food was just okay, not bad. We used the small workout room each morning which is very nice, with seemingly new equipment and was not very busy except one day though I only had to wait about two minutes for the one elliptical. The beach and pool are very nice and I like that you can reserve a cabana as long as you spend a minimum amount of food or wine. You can also grab snorkeling equipment and walk a bit down the beach and see fish and sea turtles. We had a late flight and weren’t able to get late check out but they did allow us to store our bags and freshen up in a room, so that was nice. To be sure, the resort is lovely and the rooms are great but I just felt like the customer service and attitude was not up to par for the price we paid as well as the lack of any recognition of my iPrefer status. If you don’t offer loyalty perks, don’t pretend that you will.

Must Stay!
The loveliest accommodations are only outshined by the warmth and care of the staff. Staff like Lorenzo, Beatrice, Judson, and Rashana elevated an already incredible environment. Excellent food as well!
